The Day Of The Dragon

We were walking in the jungle. Lloyd had suggested that I should try to bond with everyone, since I was his childhood friend. For the most part, I just embarrassed Lloyd. Let's just say, he wasn't too amused. I actually enjoyed talking with most of them, but I felt a strange sense of nervousness.

"Chen just figured out Skylor's powers can finish the spell. She's in danger!" Griffin blurted out, as he ran towards us, at, like, one hundred miles per hour.

Garmadon looked slightly taken aback, whilst also looking unsurprised, "He's replaced his Elemental staff with the Elements in his daughter!"

"Where?" Kai looked as if he were about to strike Chen, even though he wasn't there.

"Other side of the island."

"I'm going after her!" Kai called out.

"We all are. Jay, Zane, you take the mech and buggy. Cole and I will take the Roto Jet. Lloyd, you've got your Elemental Energy Dragon," Garmadon told the Ninja, "Nya, how fast will she go?"

Nya replied, "Fast enough."

"Everyone else stay here and guard the camp. Let's get a move on!" Garmadon insisted.

"Why do I have to stay here?" I complained, in a loud and high-pitched voice.

Lloyd summoned his dragon, and reached for my hand, "Don't ever do that again. You almost burst my eardrums."

I grabbed his hand, and he pulled me up. I sat a few inches behind him, before he shot us up into the sky. I quickly grabbed onto him.
"Warn me next time!" I cried, holding onto Lloyd for dear life.

"Hey, you wanted to come," He chuckled.

I huffed, but still held onto him, tightly.

We flew over to the opposite side of the island. Lloyd kept looking back at me, as if he were checking to see if I had fallen off.

This was the most bizarre and surreal experience I've ever had. The others seemed to be handling it well, so we just watched from the sky.

After a while, the others had finished their work and were coming back to the ship. I felt it was time to return to the palace.

"I-I think we should go back," I stuttered, looking at how high we were.

"Heh, you're right. The others seem to have be leaving, anyway," Lloyd stated, turning the dragon.

"WhoOA--!"

After a few minutes, we managed to get back to where everybody else was.
Soon after, the others returned back. All except Kai and Zane.

"Dad!" Lloyd called out, as he ran to embrace his father.

Garmadon looked around, "I don't see Skylor or Kai."

"They said they were on their way," Shade explained.

Garmadon groaned and fell to his knees. I caught a glimpse of his tattoo glowing.

"Dad, what's wrong?"

Garmadon replied, "I don't know."

"Your tattoo."

"Something inside of me. Something is happening."

Garmadon turned into an Anacondrai, and hissed, "The spell...the spell, it's completed. If everyone with the mark of the Anacondrai is effected, that means..."

Chen's minions freed themselves, and started to fight us.

"Let's get 'em, guys!" Cole shouted, as he ran towards them.

"Ugh!" I yelled, as one of them attacked me, "Okay, these guys are strong!"

Griffin admitted, "They're too fast!"

"And they are too many. Retreat! Get everyone to the palace!" Garmadon ordered.

Lloyd instructed, "Everyone, to the palace!"

Karlof, Neuro and Shade instructed everyone, as well, and we all ran toward the palace.

"Snake among us!" Jay gasped, as he readied his Lightning.

"No, don't! It's my father," Lloyd shouted.

"First it was four arms, then you became a Dragon. Would you mind picking a body and sticking with it, please?" Jay quipped.

"Could use a little help!" Cole cried, as he was barricading the door, with a few others, "Argh!"

I rushed over and tried to create some wood planks, and other heavy things, and passed them to Cole.
"Use these," I told him.

We struggled to keep the door shut, but suddenly, the Anacondrai stopped attempting to break in.

"Where did they go?" Nya asked, as Cole slowly opened the door.

"Don't!" Jay cried, "It could be a trick."

He closed the door and we all climbed up a nearby ladder, only for us to witness them leaving.

Chen beamed, "Take care of the island, it's yours. We'll be taking Ninjago now!"

"This, this is just priceless," Jay whined, "He took the Roto Jet and all of the Blade-Copters!"

Nya whimpered, "W-What have we done?"

"We all have families in Ninjago," Griffin slowed down.

"I don't," I frowned.

"Argh! And we had to destroy any other way off the island!" Jay complained, "Who's idea was that?"

"Your father was right, Lloyd," Cole admitted, "We thought we had the upper hand. Our guard was down and look what happened."

"Nobody listens to me! You all say I overreact, but no!" Jay continued his whining.

"I'll go alone," Lloyd stated.

I laughed in response, "Easy there, buster. That ain't happening."

"I'm sorry, but I'm the only one with an Elemental Dragon."

"Not anymore!" Zane yelled, as he flew over on his own dragon.

"Oh, Zane, none of us could do that before!" Jay oohed, "You gotta tell us how you did that!"

"I faced my fear. When I realized it wasn't something in front of me that held me back, but something inside me, I found a deeper power. A Dragon power," Zane explained.

People yelled some things in response, but I noticed two certain people flying on their own dragon, too.

"Zane's right. We all have this power inside of us," Kai agreed, "But you have to see that it's not the Anacondrai we're afraid of, it's our doubt. Divided, we failed. But together, we will succeed."

Somehow, almost everyone summoned their own Dragons from the speech.

"The battle of our past has returned, but we will rise to meet that challenge," Garmadon half-smiled, which was probably the most of a smile I'd ever see from him.

"Chen brought us here so that only one would remain," Kai beamed, "Well, we are one!"

I still hadn't summoned mine, though.

It took a while, maybe one or two hours, but, I finally managed to summon mine.

The dragon was about three metres long, and it had silver scales on its head. They were not just any old scales. They were shiny and iridescent, a deep metallic sheen that glowed in the distance. Though, it had a pearly green covering everywhere else, which stretched from its tail to all the way up to its neck.
