"I feel like I should teach you something, too," Stan explained.

Kyle frowned, his hair ruffling in the wind. As usual, he had forgotten to bring his lunch to school and was now sitting with his legs crossed, occasionally brushing his flaming curly red hair out of his sight. "What do you mean?"

"Well, I'm at an advantage," Stan said, turning on his familiar winning smile, the one he kept for.

Kyle raised his eyebrows, making the boy stop. They had been best friends since pre-school, just the two of them. Yet, they still suffered from some unbeatable communication issues.

Kyle had grown to average height and wiry, while Stan was tall and muscular. The two were opposites, particularly in the personality department.

"I mean, it just feels like you've done so much for me, and I feel that I owe you something," Stan clarified.

"Well, what's something you know that I don't?" Kyle teased.

"How 'bout that?" Stan's eyes brightened and gestured to a woman walking directly across from them.

"What?" inquired the redhead.

Kyle watched Stan adoringly as he shook his head in laughter.

"C'mon dude, don't you get it? You've never had a girlfriend before. Don't you think that's a little weird being in 9th grade?"

"I guess I never really thought about it."

Kyle swallowed before taking a second to think to himself. Up until now, he had done everything and anything to avoid getting a girlfriend. Not because he didn't want to, but because he never really felt a thing towards girls. He felt broken.

I'm disgusting.

"Think about it," Stan started, "Even though I and Wendy are over, she gave me loads of experience! I mean, have you ever had your first kiss yet?!" Stan let out, almost too excitedly.

Kyle looked around desperately for an answer, only to be left with a dry throat.

"No. I haven't." he coughed.

Stan put his hand on Kyle's thigh. God, it wasn't fair. It wasn't fair for Stan to be this close.

Stop it.

"Do you even know how to kiss?" he whispered.

Kyle felt his cheeks itch and sighed. Why did he have to be like this?

"No," he muttered, beginning to get aggravated.

"Then that's what I can teach you!" Stan announced.

Oh.

"H-how are you planning to teach me how to...kiss?"

"Just meet me at my place at 7 tonight. See ya!"

And just like that, Stan was gone.
