Everyone was successfully paralyzed by Jean, now no one could fight her.
"I told you to stay away...." Jean said, she floated in the air, looking calmer.
"That's never gonna happen," Raven said, she looked around, looked at the mess Jean had caused, then focused back on Jean as she returned her footing to the ground.
"Please, stop," Jean pleaded.
"Not until, I know, you're gonna be okay," Raven said.
"Something's happening to me," Jean looked around, looking confused and lost.
"So come home, let me take care of you," Raven tried hard, she approached Jean while Charles watched them, still focused on freezing Hank and a few cops.
"No, you can't, you don't---you don't know how It's like..." Jean stared at her palms, regret suddenly overtook her when she realized that she had hurt her own friends.
"Then tell me...." Raven kept getting closer to her.
"When it comes, people get hurt...."
"I'm not afraid of you, Jean, look at me, focus on my voice, we're going to get through this together, I'm not giving up on you, Jean," Raven drew closer, and her voice echoed inside Jean's head.
"This is what family does, we take care of each other.... You're my family, Jean, no matter what--"
"STOP!!!" Jean shouted, unconsciously throwing Raven away.
Charles lost his focus and control over Hank and the cops, his eyes widen seeing multiple pieces of wood pierced through Raven's stomach.
Hank groaned, not understanding what was going on but he could barely move when he saw Raven's condition. Hank ran towards her faster than anyone, while Jean flew off, leaving the team again.
"No.... Raven," panic hit Hank when he saw Raven suffer.
"I can't catch my breath..." Raven's breath hitched, she had never felt so scared until today.
"No..." Hank put his fingers on Raven's cheek.
"I-I love you...." Raven said the words, but they seemed to get over and Hank couldn't hear them clearly.
"What? Raven, Please...." Hank started to shed tears, his heart torn because he knew he would lose Raven.
The rest of the team could only watch, Ororo can barely stand, Scott was still thinking about how he would find Jean after this, Lorna was angry with Alex for blocking her from stopping Jean, and she looked around frantically for her brother.
