—> description: very short, fluffy fanfic between Kyle Broflovski and a redheaded reader

It was your brand new start, in a brand new town. You were always bullied at your old schools for petty things such as how your hair is red, how your teeth aren't perfect, just any little nit-picky detail which made you hate yourself. You would rarely smile because you anticipated someone to make an ugly comment.
You decided to give this new school a chance, and not wear a hat. Your [curly/straight] hair was bright and visible, and would definitely be a head turner. You walk to a lonely bus stop, and see a couple of boys that look around your age standing there.
"Shut up fat ass, there is no new kid this year," the boy with the green hat snaps at the larger boy.
"You're just mad that it'll probably be a girl, and she won't date you." The larger one was smirking with his arms crossed as the other boy was fuming.
"Girls like me more than you!" the boy shouted, balling his hands into fists.
"That is where you're wrong Kehal," he replied, "the girls put me higher up on the list because nobody likes stupid gingers."

You were standing there rather awkwardly after that comment, and the four boys turn around all at the same time.
"Oh sorry, we didn't see you there.." Kyle lets out awkwardly, and Cartman crosses his arms. You tuck your hair behind your head self consciously before replying.
"It's no big deal... I'm used to it."
"Well I'm Kyle, this is Stan and Kenny, don't pay any mind to Cartman, he can be rude." The boy with the green hat points to each corresponding friend. Cartman rolls his eyes with his arms crossed. Stan slightly waves but has earbuds in.
"Oh, I'm [y/n], I'm new to South Park..." you're still defensive about whether or not you should trust these guys. The bus pulls up, and the five of you climb up on board, and you sit with Kyle.

On the bus ride to school, you both talk about similar interests, such as music, television shows, and movies. Turns out, you both like Terrance and Phillip. You slowly start to come out of your shell, but the bus comes to an abrupt stop. Kyle shows you through the school, and gym class comes. Today's class is outside.
"I don't really like... gym class. It seems to be a nest for bullies," you mutter but Kyle hears you.
"Why would anyone ever bully you? You're great."
"Well... because of my hair and teeth."
You both walk away from everyone else, but the teacher is too distracted to notice the both of you go under the football bleachers.
"What about your hair and teeth?"
"I would always get bullied because I'm a redhead and my teeth aren't straight and have a gap..."
Kyle shakes his head with a smile, and removes his green hat, revealing his ginger afro.
"I catch a lot of shit for being ginger from Cartman, but he bullies everyone ya know? I think your red hair is a lot prettier than mine," he laughs and you're mesmerized. Your cheeks flush, as you finally feel like you relate to someone.
"No way... yours is amazing!" You actually laugh and show your smile.
"[Y/n] your gap is adorable," he states, but realizes he said it out loud. "Oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"
You interrupt him by grabbing his hand and smiling.
"No, don't apologize, I am flattered..." you lean in smiling, and his face heats up more. You land a kiss right on his cheek, and are amused by how embarrassed he is.

The bell rings, signaling that gym class is over, but before you can stand up and walk toward the building, Kyle grabs your arm. You look back by instinct, and he pulls your face into his, landing a kiss on the lips. This time, your face is as red as a strawberry.
    "See ya at lunch."
