Author's Note: Little mention of suicide attempt. I know Dimitri had been with the volturi for centuries but you'll realise why I did so in the future if you don't guess by the end of the chapter.

I hope when they say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger applies to me because after the amounts of breaks I've gone through todayI think I may die. Well, if it wasn't't for that wonderful stash of ambrosia and nectar then yes.

I could still feel my ribs slowly reconnecting with one another, but after three hours of pure concentration I had managed to control a portion of time around me. Sort of like a bubble.

Luckily, Charlie and Bella were smart enough to know I needed to do this on my own and didn't disturb me. I needed to be quick if I was going to have lunch with the Cullens tomorrow and also get those books from Volterra.

"Iris, do me a solid and show me where the volturi guards and kings are please." I was going to check on what they were doing so I would be able to avoid them. This would be so much easier if I had Annabeth's cap.

I hadn't spoken to anybody from Camp other than Chiron for quite some time. I'll drop in on them after I'm done. The mist appeared and showed me some sort of garden. Why would they be in a garden?

I shook my thought aside, I needed to take the chance to get into their library. So, I teleported as quietly as possible into the clocktower, so not to wake Bella and Charlie.

It was one hell of a piece from history. Much like its occupants. Annabeth had mentioned that she had always wanted to go, but with my knowledge I told her it was a monster den, which isn't a complete lie. They aren't monsters but they would kill her or me.

I almost jumped from the shock. I had come face to face with Dimitri Volturi. He stopped for a period of time with a confused look upon his face but luckily didn't seemed to think anything of the close contact. Isn't he supposed to be the best tracker in the world?

I moved past him and entered the library. If I was exhausted from having to teleport so far and the shield I was having to maintain I'd have stayed and read a few books because there were hundreds upon hundreds of books.

Focus, Katerina. I went from row to row until I saw them. The only way one could recognise them would be if they could speak Ancient Greek. Creak. Oh no, I've got to hurry. At that moment Marcus, Aro and Caius Volturi had entered to room.

Dawn, they were fine. Although, each one seemed to wear a sad frown on their faces. Well, Marcus I expected, but not the other two. I slowly backed away from where they were standing. I must get out of here.

However, a part of me wanted so desperately to stay. No, Katerina, knock out of it.

As I was dissolving into invisible black mist, thanks to the mist, ready to teleport, I heard a small gasp before I was back in my room.

Marcus POV:

It was another depressing day. I sat on my throne staring at nothing. My brothers had stopped my attempts at suicide and convinced me to stay for the covens sake. My attention was grabbed a faint golden string attached to my brothers and I. Mate.

A huge smile appeared on my face. I had another chance at happiness. "Brother what's got you smiling?" I turned to see my brothers looking surprised. It felt good to smile after so long.

I held out my hand for around so he could see the bond. As I had done, Aro beamed with joy. "It would seem that we have a mate Caius." With a flash, I had both of my brothers around me, one with a smile of joy one with a look of impatience.
