Azurine and I became friends and she helped me a lot to know more about the topic I'm interested into, the Era of the Hues. May mga impormasyon siyang sinabi na hindi nakasulat sa libro kaya naman mas lalo kong naintindihan ang Era of the Hues.

Aniya ay mayroong limang namumuno sa Era of the Hues, ang House of Azure, kung saan siya nabibilang dahil ang kaniyang ama ang Head.

"House of Ivory, hindi ba doon na kayo galing? Out of all the ruling houses out there, they are the only one who made their successor a lady. Si Lady Yelseyara." Tumango ako sa sinabi ni Azurine.

"Anong mali roon?" My head tilted.

"Nothing really. But usually, a household makes their successor a man. Naging normal na lalaki lamang ang mamumuno kaya naman lahat ay nagulat nang malaman nila na si Yelseyara ang susunod na magiging head ng Ivory Household at hindi ang pangalawang anak nilang lalaki."

"Naging issue iyon?" I mumbled to myself.

"It's really ridiculous, isn't it? No matter how you think about it, men shouldn't think little of women." Umiiling na pahayag ni Azurine. Sumangayon ako sa kaniya.

"Almost everyone opposed to that idea when they announced it to the whole region. Vampires gossiped about it and belittled Yelseyara but the issue settled down when Yelseyara proved them wrong. She may look like a fragile lady but she is actually very powerful." Kwento pa niya, tahimik lamang akong nakikinig.

"Next up is the Amber Household, this House is ruled by women, meaning, the Head is a women. I know this may sound ridiculous but no one dared to question their position ever since the Head, Aurelia Amber rose to the society. It is said that she killed her father and siblings to get the position, natakot ang lahat, besides, they are also powerful since they are one of the ruling houses."

"When they named that the next head position will be passed down to her one and only daughter, Avolea Amber, walang nagalit at nag-tangkang kuwestyunin ang desisyon na iyon. Aside from announcing it a little bit later after the Ivory's, Avolea is the only daughter the Ambers have."

I must say that the Ambers played well, announcing it after the Ivory's means that they calculated that all the criticism will be aimed to the latter. So when they said that Avolea Amber is the Amber's successor, vampires are already done with their discrimination. Nasa isip na lamang ng mga ito ay puwedeng maging pinuno ang babae matapos mapatunayan ni Yelseyara ang kaniyang sarili, they thought of Avolea the same.

"I also admire Avolea but she's been years head over heels with my brother. Isa rin siya sa flower of the society and famous for her beauty just like Yelseyara, actually, they are equal. Kilala sila sa tawag na "The Epitome of Vampire Elegance," but ever since Avolea showed affection to my brother, everyone sees her as someone who's obsessed with Kuya Asra." Nakuha naman ni Azurine ang aking atensyon sa kaniyang sinabi.

"May gusto siya kay Asra?" My eyes widened in surprise and curiosity.

"Yup! Kaya be careful too. Lahat ng nalalaman niyang may gusto kay Kuya ay binabantaan niya. She's gatekeeping my brother without his consent." Umiiling na paanlala saakin ni Azurine. Kumunot naman ang aking noo

"Huh? Why would I be careful?" I raised a brow.

"The news of Asra Azure brought back a girl with him and treats her like how he treats his little sister has spread around the whole region and Avolea has probably heard of it. Baka paginitan ka kapag nag-kita kayo." Nalito ako bigla.

"Big deal ba iyon?"

"Yes, of course! You may not know this but my brother is actually a very strict and serious person. Aside from me, his little sister, hindi siya tumatrato ng iba na mayroong sweetness, but look how he worries about you. He really cares and it is a big deal since everyone knew him as a strict person nga." Tumango ako, medyo naintindihan na iyon.
