Chapter five

We drove on for miles until we made it to a building with a blue bowling ball and three pins for a logo

"I guess, this must be the place.."

"Yep.."

"Come on, everyone! let's go inside."

"Whoa, this place looks cool.. how did you find it?" 

"I used to come here as a kid all the time, come on let's knock over some pins."

We went over to the bowling ally and picked up some balls to roll

I was winning against Blade

"Way to go, Zayne! Where did you learn to play so well?"

"Let's just say, when it comes to sports, a few video games will do the trick

We were bowling for some time until Blade spoke up.

"Alright, enough chatter, that party starts in about an hour."

"Wait, you mean to say that the party is tonight?"

"That's exactly what I'm saying, why?"    

"Why? Blade, you could've told us ahead of time. How are we supposed to get ready in an hour?"

"Relax guys, this party is very casual. I just invited a few people over so that we could have a good time. You wouldn't mind that, would you?" 

Blade had a point. Maybe this was a good idea after all. After we finished bowling, we went back to Blade's car. 

We drove for several miles until we came across Olivia's house, which had people dancing on the roof, drinking on the front lawn, and several others throwing toilet paper rolls over tree branches.

"Blade, what are these people doing at my house?"

"Remember when I said I was hosting a party?"

"Yeah?

"Well, this is it. You're welcome."

"Yeah, but when you said you were throwing a party, I thought you meant at your place, not mine, why are you doing this anyway?

"No reason, to mess with you guys."

Olivia rolled her eyes and turned her attention towards her car

"Hey, stop dancing on that car! That is brand new! Get down from the rooftop!"

"Hey cool, a party! Come on, Zayne! Let's go!" Cassidy exclaimed

Eric decided to drink some beer from the front lawn.

I danced with Cassidy into the night until it was time to go home.
