"ENOUGH, BOTH OF YOU!" Leah bellowed from her spot in the kitchen as Brady Fuller and Collin Littlesea reluctantly broke apart, red-cheeked and more than a little sweaty. "What have I told you about wrestling in the house? Last week, you two broke Jake's door. The week before that, you busted a hole in a wall! Isn't that enough accidents to think, hey, maybe I shouldn't roughhouse in the Alpha's house? Money doesn't grow on tree, you know!"

Brady fixed a crooked, boyish grin her way as he shook out his overgrown curls.

"Yes, Mom," Collin acquiesced with a sarcastic snort.

She ignored the pang that always accompanied the boys calling her that, even in a joking manner.

The Pack didn't have anymore new additions now that the vampires that had left, but she and Embry were on babysitting detail a lot of the times being the only acceptable candidates. Sam had a pregnant mate, Paul was likely to scar them for life even more, Jake had a Pack to run, and Jared...She was likely to throttle him to death. So that left her and Embry, who was calm and warm and kids liked him.

And if she was being honest, she didn't mind it all that much. Not because she was a girl but because kids were so easier to deal with than the older Pack brothers. And they reminded her a lot of Seth in a lot of ways.
