Little Dua Lipa was running from her home. It had just been destroyed by a fight. She looked to the sky and saw beams of green and yellow. Dua let out a scream when a yellow beam almost hit her. A man in a green and black outfit appeared and created a green shield.
Dua looked up in awe, knowing that she had just been saved by the Green Lantern. She smiled, when the Lantern was shot down. She ran to hide behind a tree. She crouched down, closed her eyes and covered her ears.
She heard a scream, and an explosion. She heard someone speak in an alien language, before silence. Dua whimpered, before opening her eyes. Dua opened her eyes, only to find a green ring glowing in front of her. She reached and grabbed it. She stared at it in awe, before slipping it on her finger.
She heard someone clear their throat. Dua turned her little head and saw the yellow lantern floating in front of her.
"You have something that belongs to me," he said, extending his hand. "Give it to me, and I will let you live."
Dua shook her head, as she hid her hands behind her back. The man let out a frustrated sigh, and turned his hand into a fist. Dua watched as a yellow beam shot towards her. It was about to hit her, when a green shield stopped it.

Pain.
So much pain.
Everything hurt.
Lauren couldn't get her thoughts in line, because her body was in so much pain. She inhaled deeply, only for that to hurt her ribs. Lauren let out a groan, as she struggled to open her eyes.
She thinks of the last thing she remembered.
Harry. The suit. The collar. The beatings. Camila. The team.
Lauren's eyes shoot open. She could feel something around her neck, causing her heart to skip a beat. All she can think about is how Camila and the others didn't save her. They couldn't have. Lauren looked at the wires on her body, and started to pull them off. She pushed herself off the bed, only to hit the ground when her legs weren't able to hold her weight.
She bit her lip to keep from crying out. She pushed herself up and used the bed to stand up. She pushed herself and stood on her two feet. Taking a deep breath, she walked out of the room.
She had to get out of there. She had to stay safe.

Dua looked around the room. Kh'alid and Shawn were on the ground playing a video game, while Hailee, Sofia and she cheered them on. The original members hadn't called for training, instead gave them all a day off. They wanted to discuss some things, and wanted to make sure Lauren was going to be okay.
Dua wondered about Lauren, if she was okay. She still remembered the faces of the original members' faces when the alarms went off, and the fact that they had been AWOL since then worried her. She remembered Lauren's limp body when they left the Young Injustice's lair.
"What do you guys think they're doing in there?" Dua asked, looking towards the other girls.
Hailee shrugged. "It probably has to do with Luthor and his team. I mean, they are keeping something from us."
"What do you think it is?" Sofia asked, her eyes on the boys.
"I'm sure it has to do with why Lauren isn't on the team," Shawn responded, cursing as Kh'alid's character killed his.
