A heavy silence filled the air, Penny's dad was behind her encouraging her to talk more trashing gumball. She was upset because of the lack of affection gumball gives her. "You probably never even cared about me!" She cried loudly.

"Penny, you're reading too much into this! Sure I like you! You're smart an- and funny! Just because I don't want to kiss and hug you every second of the day doesn't mean I don't like you!"

Penny, insulted by his words, yelled "that's one thing, but you said that you see me as a friend. A FRIEND gumball!"

"No, no, penny, please i-" gumball was cut off by Penny's dad.

"That's enough out of you, cat. You were never good enough for my daughter! Get out of my house before I take you out!"

Penny followed, "you know, he has a point gumball. I don't think we should see each other anymore." Gumball stood in shock of what she had just said. Penny's dad just drug him out by the hood of his jacket. Mr peanut Man pushes him out of the threshold and slams the door.

He starts his way home, counting the concrete squares of the sidewalk until he reaches his house. When he opens the door Nicole was looking back at him with a concerned face. She had just hung up the phone with Penny's dad.

"Oh, sweety, I just heard the news. I'm so sorry." She started.

"Oh! Mom! It's fineeee... It's not even that serious!" He shuts the door gently and starts to head upstairs.

"Ok then! Make sure to talk to me if you need to!" Nicole yelled after him from the bottom of the staircase. "Sure thing mom....."

Gumball walks down the hallway to his room where Darwin is at the computer playing a game. He here's the door open and swivels around in the chair to Great his brother, but is met with a face of despair. "HEY GU-...... Gumball..? Everything good?"

Walking over to his bed he mutters "..yeah..." Then faceplants into his pillow.

"Woah dude what happened!? Your face looks like it's been put through a Taffy puller!" He squeaks out. "Imma take that as a compliment and move on." GB snaps back sarcastically.

"I'm serious bro, why are you so down all of the sudden?". He sinks his face deeper into his pillow and mudders, "penny, penny happened. She broke up with me."

Darwin walks over to comfort him but doesn't know what to say. "...hey, it's okay! I'm sure we could find a way to cheer you up in no time! How about for now you get some sleep and don't worry about it. I mean... If it was meant to be then you wouldn't have broken up...."

Gumball raises his had enough so when I picks out from the pillow he's buried in. "Thanks Darwin, I'll note that." Darwin goes in his bowl and falls asleep, gumball follow shortly after.
