Chapter 15

Yosano's stethoscope just finished its course around Chuuya's small body and after series of tests and examinations, she turns to her chart to review the results.

"So? Will he be okay?" – the worry is written all over Dazai's face as he holds the hand of his mate while sitting on the chair beside the bed.

Chuuya is so anxious and could only look at the female doctor, he is praying that whatever he's in has nothing to do with the punishment or so-called consequence for betraying one's owner. He doesn't want Dazai to blame himself or made him feel responsible for it if ever that is the case.

"Well? What's wrong with him?!" – Dazai snarled being impatient and worried.

The dark-haired doctor pulls out a small device that she asked Chuuya to do, she inhales deeply before start talking "Don't worry there is nothing wrong with him" – she said as she handed over the test to Dazai.

"What is this?" – the brunette asked looking down at the said device with what it seems have two red lines on the screen.

"What's happening is that he's experiencing the signs and symptoms of conceiving a child" – the doctor said which at first Dazai and Oda were puzzled.

Chuuya sat back up "Conceiving a child? You mean—?!"

"Yes, congratulations you are four weeks pregnant, you two are going to be parents" – she announced to which all three of the people with her were shocked.

The Omega's eyes widen and mixed emotions arise inside his chest "I'm p-pregnant?" – the only words he was able to utter, he and Dazai look at each other with disbelief on their faces.

"You're pregnant" – Dazai mumbled.

"Based on what I've found out" – Yosano said "Chuuya have to rest more and maybe limit the amorous activities, he have a very delicate pregnancy"

Oda and the doctor left the penthouse leaving the Alpha and Omega so the couple will have some time for themselves after that news of Chuuya's pregnancy.

On a dim room only lit by the bright moon passing through the tall window glasses that surrounds almost half of the penthouse, Dazai is cuddling Chuuya while they are in bed.

"I still can't believe that we are going to have a child, I'm so happy" – the ginger uttered with a hint of excitement as he pushes himself further to Dazai's chest and neck.

The young Alpha caresses the older Omega's ginger hair "Me too" – he responds but his tone said otherwise.

Chuuya pulls away from the hug and sits up to look at Dazai who is lying beside him "Are you sure?" – he asked and soon a quick feeling of fear filled his chest as he saw Dazai's emotionless face, is he not happy about it? Does this mean that he is rejecting their child? "Dazai? Are you not happy?" – he asked with a worried tone. Dazai didn't respond to which Chuuya was so devastated, his partner doesn't want a child "I see" – he uttered, tears start to form at the corner of his cerulean blue eyes then hugs his legs forming a small ball.

Dazai quickly sits up and embraces Chuuya from behind "No, that's not it" – he quickly said "I-I just..."

The ginger looks back to the brunette "What?" – he stifles.

"I'm very happy, the truth is I'm as happy and excited as you are but..."

"But what?"

Dazai throws his sight outside the tall window glasses and looks at the moon "I had this feeling inside me" – he said.

Chuuya quickly asked "What feeling?"

"Whole my life I devoted myself to not feel anything and my long term goal is to one day successfully kill myself because the thought of me existing without no purpose is a nuisance but then you came along, you gave meaning to everything, for the first time in my life I looked forward to tomorrow"
