Maybe Addison had a habit of rushing things. That may be why he and Gabe have been getting along so well lately. They both had a "fuck patience" personality.
But that mindset was slowly killing him.
Not only have he and Oliver not said a thing about their date, they still haven't heard back from their "dream" college.
Everything was moving painfully slow.
"What are you going to wear?" Eve questioned him. "Do you need help getting ready?"
He told Eli and Eve about his and Oliver's upcoming date, and they were happier than Gabe. They immediately started interrogating him.
'Where is he taking you?'
'Are you nervous?'
'When's the wedding?'
It was all very overwhelming because every time they asked a question. Addison would start asking himself the same thing.
He doesn't know where Oliver's planning on taking him.
Hell yeah, he's nervous.
And he's always had a thing for fall weddings.
Things only got worse when Eli opened his big mouth, "What if you fuck everything up? Like make a complete fool out of yourself, and he dumps you before you even get together?"
"Eli!" Eve hit her boyfriend on the shoulder. "Why the hell would you say that?!"
"No," Eve said firmly, "Do not listen to him, Addison. He's a dumbass. You know that. You are going to do great on this date."
"Oh my god, I'm not good enough," Addison muttered to himself.
"See, look what you did, Eli." Eve looked around, "Ooo look." She pointed behind him.
Addison gave her a questioning look before following her gaze. Turned out she had been pointing to Cate, who was at his locker with Brandon Reeves.
God, it was like deja vu. He looked all innocent and cute, just like he looked with Oliver.
"He's probably choosing his next victim." He grimaced.
"That's someone who's not good enough, Addison. He's manipulative, and rude, and cute--Sorry, now I'm just going off the top of my head--But still, you are nothing like him."
