The next day, everyone woke up early and prepared for the event. Ashley and Liz were very excited to see Quinn and meet her new friends and of course her first boyfriend. Hoseok, Jimin, and Namjoon immediately went to the school to support their friends even during practice, they cheered Quinn and Yoongi.

QUINN's POV
"Where is your boyfriend?" Hoseok asked
"He can't watch today but he'll join us later after the competition" I replied
"Shouldn't he be supporting you, this is a really important event y'know" He replied tapping his right foot and raising an eyebrow.
"It's alright, I totally understand that he's just really busy" I replied
"Busy hitting on other girls" Jimin whispered to himself
"Excuse me?" I asked, what the fuck did he just say
"Nothing, forget it" He smirked
"Quinn!" Oh my gosh, Liz and Ashley ran towards me and gave me the tightest hug and that was the day I choked to death. Just kidding i'm still alive, I hugged them back because I really missed them and I introduced them to everyone. I noticed that Hoseok seemed to be very interested with Liz.
"hey she's single" I whispered and winked and he didn't say a word but his cheeks turned red. Yoongi and I went backstage and left our friends to talk and get to know each other better.
"Your friends are cool" Yoongi randomly uttered
"Yes of course they are" I smiled
"Anyways, remember what we practiced okay? we need to win" I still don't get why he wants to win so bad and even if he's trying to impress someone it's not like that person is instantly gonna date him or something. And to be honest he seemed more nervous than I do, that person he's trying to impress must be that special.
"Don't worry about it, I won't forget just relax and trust me aight?" I held his shoulder in hopes to make him feel better.
"Thanks Quinn, you're really a great friend" I know right
"It's nothing really, but thank you"
We waited for a few minutes before it was finally our turn to perform. As we walked towards the stage, I felt like throwing up, I was so nervous but we got by and I started singing, everyone went silent and seemed to enjoy the song. I saw Yoongi looking at someone but I couldn't really tell who it was. There were so many people from the crowd and I was very curious about that person he's trying to impress. After our performance, we went backstage again and met up with our friends.
"You guys were great!", "You killed it!", "You guys will definitely win" were just a few phrases our friends told us and I know they weren't lying, we were pretty good and had an standing ovation from the crowd.
"Where's Jin and Via?" I asked
"They just went out to go buy some snacks but don't worry they watched the performance and loved it" Namjoon replied
"That's great then, so did you guys get along well?" I asked
"We certainly did, right Joon?" Ashley replied smirking at Namjoon, and from that moment I knew something was up.
"You alright?" I asked Yoongi and he just smiled, he's probably worried about that person he's trying to impress.
"You did really great Yoongi, i'm sure you impressed many people earlier" I smiled, I hope he feels better
"Thanks Quinn, I hope so" Yoongi replied
"Relax Yoongi, you really did well" Jungkook uttered.
"We're back, and we have the snacks" Via said excitingly
"Thanks! i'm starving" I replied and grabbed the sandwich, i really was hungry and nervous at the same time but I hope we win. We all sat down and waited for the announcement of the winners.
"The winner is!" ugh not this suspense shit again
"The winner is" *drum roll*
"The winner is Yoongi Min and Quinn Davids" holy fuck we won
"We won Yoongi oh my gosh" I screamed and pulled Yoongi for a hug, We went to the stage and claimed our prize, he looked so happy and relieved we won, I hope he feels better now. We went backstage and got congratulated by our friends, we were hugged by every single one of them.
"I don't want to hug you" Jungkook joked
"I don't want to hug you either let's just get out of here and eat" I replied crossing my arms
"Are you guys fighting again?" Via asked
"She started it" that little brat
"No I didn't he did" I replied
"Quit that and apologize to each other now" Via replied glaring at both of us
"I'm sorry Jungkook though it's really your fault and you started-" Via cut me off "Quinn do it properly"
"Sorry Jungkook hope we can be in better terms now" I forced a smiled
"I forgive you, and sure why not" Jungkook smirked, what an ass. We went out and planned where we wanted to eat. Ashley suggested that we have chicken wings to reward ourselves for all our hard work. We immediately went to the restaurant and sat down, The crew were really nice and served our food fast. While we were eating, I noticed that Eunwoo wasn't around yet so I texted him.
