Michael

"I can't believe you did that." Calum says closing the car door.

"What?" I ask looking at him.

"You just walked out of the door and left her there." He looks at me.

"I've broken up with her in my head already and she said we are over if I left my apartment." I shrug.

"What about the wedding?" He asks frowning.

"Oh thats still on." I smirk. "She'll call me back after that guy leaves." I point towards the building where I spot Travis walking in.

"Thats the guy she is cheating on with?" He gapes.

"Yeah, the worst part is." I pause looking at him. "He fucks her in my bed." I chuckle seeing Calum's disgusted face.

"Arent you upset? Two years all thrown into the bin." He sighs.

"Well I do love her, of course I do." I nod. "But you dont mess with Michael Clifford, bitch." I wink at him making him blush slightly.

"Well I bet her reactions when you leave her at the wedding will be priceless." He smiles chuckling.

"It will be." I nod.

"So where we going?" He looks at me.

''Thats for me to know and for you to find out.'' I wink at him.

''Oh c'mon.'' He groans. ''Tell me.'' He whines.

''Just trust me.'' I tell him. ''Its going to be fun date.'' I smile.

Luke

I walk into the hospital and spot Lacey walking out of the locker room. I walk over to her and smile, she smiles back and signs a paper before sighing and looking back at me.

''So, You are coming to spend the day with Charlie, huh?'' She says.

''Yeah.'' I smile nodding. ''You need to teach me also, I have no idea what he likes or what he would like to do.'' I say walking by her side.

''His only 2 years old, Luke.'' She scoffs. ''Its not that hard to understand a two almost three year old.'' She grabs her helmet and puts it over her head.

''I know but I've never been around kids.'' I sigh hoping onto my bike.

''I know.'' She smirks.

...

''So wheres your fiance?'' I ask walking up the stairs of the big house.

''At work.'' She mumbles pushing the door open and walking in.

''I thought he would be in by now.'' I say looking around the modern unfamiliar home.

''Nope.'' She says sliding off her shoes. ''He has a late shift tonight.'' She half smiles.

''It doesn't bother him you having boyfriends around?'' I raise my brow grinning.

''You're Charlie's father, he has no choice.'' She puts a hand on her hip glaring at me.

''What?'' I say. ''Have I got something on my face?'' I look at myself in the mirror on the wall on the right hand side.

''Take your shoes off or you'll make Maria angry.'' She says.

''Who is Maria?'' I ask rushing a hand through my hair while quickly sliding off my shoes.

''Do you think I leave Charlie at home alone?'' She huffs.

''Right, Yeah.'' I nod. ''The nanny.'' I say following her into the kitchen.

''Want anything to drink?'' She offers.

''I'm alright, thanks.'' I say standing behind the massive worktop in the middle of the massive kitchen.

''Suit yourself.'' She shrugs pulling out the orange juice out of the fridge.

''Ew.'' I glare at her while she pours the orange juice in the glass.

''What?'' She looks at me and then at the orange juice. ''Sure you dont want any?'' She smirks and puts the glass to her lips.

''Already trying to poison me.'' I turn around and look out the back door. ''You have a really nice place.'' I sigh looking at the pool and the trampoline close to it.

''Its not really mine.'' She laughs nervously.

''But you live here.'' I tell her.

''I know, i don't mind it. I think its beautiful but I've always wanted a small family house.'' She says walking towards the back door where I stand.

''I get it.'' I nod. ''But Jeff doesn't want to change to something smaller?'' I ask trying to not be so nosy.

''I dont know, I haven't really asked him.'' She shrugs.

''So..'' I say awkwardly watching her drink the orange juice. ''Where is Charlie?'' I ask.

''Oh yeah, right.'' She puts the glass on the side and walk out of the kitchen.

I follow her out of the kitchen and hurry trying to catch up with her. We stand back in the main entrance.

''What are you doing?'' I ask her.

''Thinking of what I should teach you about Charlie.'' She says. ''You need to know things about him, his almost three years old and doesn't even know what he likes himself so it will be hard for you to figure out.'' She smirks.

''Okay.'' I nod. ''Where do we start?'' I say.

''Thats the question.'' She nods. ''Where do we start.''

''Well let me see him would be a good start.'' I sigh looking in the mirror.

''He wont be here until late, and Jeff will be home at the same time.'' She mumbles.

''So? I thought you said Jeff wouldnt mind?'' I frown.

''Well I haven't exactly told him yet.'' She half smiles.

''What?'' I say. ''So he doesn't know I will be visiting like everyday for the rest of that boys life and yours.'' I smirk.

''Yeah, right.'' She scoffs. ''Lets just see his room first, that might give me some ideas.'' She smiles.

''What kind of ideas?'' I grin.

She looks at me dead serious. ''You are so..'' She says pausing. ''Just follow me.'' She starts walking up the stairs.

''I'll race you to the top?'' I run past her.

''Thats not fair!'' She giggles grabbing me by the arm while running up the stairs.

As we reach the top, her hand still pulling on mine, I pull up against me and smile.

''I win.'' I whisper leaning into her.
