Your POV

*Flashback*

Years ago back in high school...

I was with my common friends while I was in PE. We were playing basketball by the time we all sit out as a group. We all started to see a group of girls who were playing basketball as a good team, managing to get most of the wins. Compare to us, we are common or average.

"Watch where you're going, nerd!"

I noticed someone getting bullied during the time that they were playing basketball. I looked ahead, seeing someone with black hair with his glasses, brown eyes as he was wearing his gym uniform. His name is Tanith. I pity him, just thinking how he would have been better during his childhood life. "He's way too kind when being honest. Do you think that you would have been this way?" F/n asked me.

"So? Even if that doesn't mean he cannot fight, then he would have tended to change, wanted to become stronger from the past. Then, why can't he...?" I reply to him.

"He's lazy bruh, get over it!" Matthew commented on my response.

"If we knew how though. We would have been idiots as cowards. Like nerds can be cowards." Lucy commented.

"What can we do?" I asked. Everyone stared at me, thinking if they wanted to be involved to help Tanith.

"Are you serious, Y/n?" Lucy asked.

"Dude, we're not heroes. Even we can be trained to protect, that doesn't mean that he's not worth it." Matthew complained to me.

"Like he said," F/n agreed with him. "No one would like to listen, even that nerd is too scared to stand up. Just what does he do for the last years of his youth? What a loser, how can he be so naive when being kind to someone who likes to bully? That's his fault, not ours. He can eat his mistakes if he realized what can be wrong to his eyes." F/n shrugged at me by the time there will be the next round for this period.

...

During the time in the hallway, I see Tanith being beaten up by bullies until they leave. The teachers ignored the problem because they were cowards by the time they do not want to deal with the child's problem. "Why does this even happen to me?" Tanith cried. I felt pity but how can I deal with bullies when it comes to fighting and in front of the school grounds? Who is going to save him from this mess?

"Are you ok?" That was when the girl as an only light figure appeared. Her name is Saling. A girl with white-blonde hair with her white, grayish, and black bow on the back of her top head. That was when Tanith and Saling got into a relationship. I thought that it was just a pitiful fate, but I do not trust how it would turn out. For nerds, he needed help.

At that time, I met Tanith at the cafeteria by the time I just want to talk, warn him. "Are you ok with this?" I ask him. He doesn't know what I was talking about, but I do know that things can be sus. "Even if you are poor or nerd, that doesn't mean that some outer shell or your lack of effort would save you. The tag of being a nerd can still affect your life. She wasn't here for you just because she wanted fresh friends without nerds." I said to him, wanting him to change. Go on and talk to friends, never fall into a trap.

"Have you ever thought about changing the fact where I have to stand up alone?" Tanith stood up, talking down to me. I have no idea, but I can tell that he never believed me. "I have nothing that I wanted to do alone..." He meant that he can't change alone, which was quite sad for him that he was never strong above the weakness that weighed him down. He just walked away like it was nothing but a waste of his time. I wish I could have saved him and the figure as a sworn brother, but it was too late...
