Kh'alid didn't know how long he had been on the run for, but after the White Martians attacked, he ran. And he hid. He was small enough that he had gotten away undetected, but it was getting harder and harder to stay hidden.
Kh'alid looked up to the sky, to see one of Mars' moons. He let his guard down just enough for someone to appear behind him. The second Kh'alid sensed them, he turned and his eyes widened. He stared at the tall being, a Green Martian.
Kh'alid opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out from his shock.
The Green Martian placed his hand on his own chest. "I am J'onn," he said in their native tongue.
"Kh'alid," he responded, his eyes on the man. "I thought I was alone."
J'onn shook his head. "You are not alone, not anymore." He offered Kh'alid his hand, and the young Martian took it.

Harry stared at his suit, seeing it in front of him. He made sure the Kryptonite particles were fill, and the weapons were ready. He could hear the other members of the team training. He could hear the blasts, the clashing of weapons. He could hear it all.
He knew that the battle was coming, and the other team was preparing. But Harry wanted to make sure that his team was better.
And the next time he faced his dear sister, he was going to make sure she took her last breath. He was going to make his Kryptonian father regret ever turning his back on him.
He was going to prove he was the better sibling.

Lauren's eyes stayed on the burns on her neck. She reached up and let the pads of her fingers run over the scars left over. She gritted her teeth, feeling her rage run through her. And all she could think of is getting to Harry, and making pay for the pain he caused her, for the pain he caused Camila.
She heard soft footsteps walk towards her. Camila's face appeared behind her in the reflection. She felt Camila wrap her arms around her, and Lauren leaned into it. She felt the need for the security Camila's arms gave her.
"Are you okay?" Camila asked, her voice soft.
Lauren looked at the reflection of the other teen. She shrugged. "I don't know," she whispered in response, slightly surprised at her honest answer.
"How about you meet the newbies? It can help take your mind off things," she suggested, looking hopeful.
Lauren gave her a small smile and nodded. Camila reached over and grabbed Lauren's hand. She gave her a gentle squeeze, and the two walked out of Camila's quarters.
Before she knew it, she was in front of five kids she didn't personally know, but had studied. She knew enough about them, having created the files of them.
"Lo, these are the new members, Shawn Queen-"
"Blue Arrow," he said, giving her a nod.
"- Hailee Lance-"
"Siren," Hailee interrupted, just watching her.
"-Kh'lid J'onzz-"
"Martian," he said, "please to meet you."
"You too," Lauren responded, before turning to the next person.
"-Sofia Hall-"
"Hawkgirl," she said, giving her a small wave.
"-and Dua Jordan."
"Green Lantern," Dua said, giving Lauren a small smile.
"And guys, this is Lauren Wayne, Batgirl," Camila told them, beaming.
