Life at the circus

Chapter 1

It was a normal day at the circus and you had just finished doing some tricks. Popee was training Kedamono a few feet away. He was holding a chicken drumstick in front of Kedamonos face to bribe him, making him drool and stare at it as if it was the last one on earth.

You watched them happily and continued to do some acrobatics. Suddenly you heard Papi behind you. He cleared his throat loudly to get everyone's attention.

"Sooo I have some news, Alien has invited us for dinner tonight! He was so thankful when we helped him fix his spaceship that he wanted to make it up to us, and we're even having a sleepover there. What do you say?"

Kedamono was excited and wagged his tail from side to side, but Popee on the other hand was not happy. He crossed his arms and had an annoyed look on his face.

"I'm not visiting that big headed asshole!" Popee shouted. Papi got desperate.

"Why haven't you moved on from that incident, he didn't mean to steal your unicycle..and break it. But he said sorry alright!"

"I don't care! He broke it and he couldn't fix it, not even YOU could fix it!" Popee fought back. This went on for a while until Papi had to break the fight. He sighed.

"Are you coming or not?" he asked with a short temper.

"I'm not coming." Popee anonceated.

"Fine!" Papi perked his voice up. He looked over at you. "Y/n?". You got a bit scared of the way Papi sounded. Like he was about to burst into flames of anger. "Uh, no thank you! I stretched a muscle when i was practicing so i better stay here and rest".

"Okay that settles it, but don't come to me when you change your mind" Papi said.

Popee scoffed, "Oh, please." While this was happening you kept thinking about spending some alone time with Popee and what it would be like. Your thoughts went further and became hotter than usual. Because you had been secretly in love with Popee, so you were often daydreaming about him now and then. But your wonderful thoughts were interrupted by Papi. He said they would be leaving soon and would come back tomorrow.

You had put on some sweatpants and a t-shirt to sleep in. Papi and Kedamono had left so it was just you and Popee. He was inside his tent and you were in yours. You were putting your hair up in a ponytail when you felt that someone was watching you. You turned around and saw Popee peeking his head through the curtains of your tent. You made eye contact with him. He sort of wanted to say something but was too shy to say anything. You smiled a little and you started blushing, he grinned.

"Hey, um... I'm gonna go to sleep now, so goodnight" Popee finally said.

"Oh okay, well goodnight!" you said. He nodded and trailed off. Soon you turned off the light on the nightstand beside your bed and fell asleep...
