Silent Stares

As I'm sitting there
In the silent stares
Wishing to be alone
Wanting to go home

Reaching for the stars
But falling so, so hard
The pain is hard to bare
In the silent stares

To leave it all behind
And something else to find
Somewhere else out there
Beyond the silent stares

Is it just a dream
Or someone tricking me
Is the dream to rare
To escape the silent stares

Will I ever know
If there's somewhere else to go
Can it be out there
Beyond the silent stares
