The Fear Of Failing

Everyone says you only fall in love once, but that's not true because every time I see you I fall in love all over again.
I was walking down the long, claustrophobic hallway when I saw him. There he was in his huddle of friends, I can't remember all of their names because the only name I remember is his. Connor. He was tall with brown hair that covered half his face and eyes that looked like chocolate. He mostly wore an adidas sweater that was an unusual dark blue colour, the strings were not the same level, one was shorter and the other one was longer. For pants, he wore khakis that reached his ankles. While I was staring, Brittany pushed me over and I fell to the floor. Connor, his friends and, everyone else who were at their lockers looked at me and giggled.
"Are you going to get up today?" Brittany spat.I couldn't speak, i was too embarrassed but why should I be? This happens every day. I can't tell anyone about it because i don't have any friends. Besides, why would Connor ever like me anyway, no one does.
"Yes, I am" I whispered timidly as i got up and brushed the dust off my Hollister hoodie.
