Meeting the Eyes of Understanding

Dr. K entered the experiment's cell, looking at them. Their journal in his hand, he walked over to the experiment, returning it. The experiment held the journal with a tight-handed grip, anxious. They were, shaking, afraid. Their eyes were away from the doctor. Dr. K looked away from them, with no intentions to frighten them, he took off his lab coat, setting it elsewhere, to make himself seem less intimidating. "I need you to confirm what you wrote is true." 
"I won't punish you, nor will I do anything to hurt you". The experiment looked up at Dr. K hesitating to say something, they took a deep breath, before saying "It's all true, you should know, you experienced it yourself." Dr. K suspected they would say something along those lines, he crossed his arms. "State your name..." the experiment set their journal to the side, on the bed they were sitting at, staring distantly, though the image of the doctor's face in their mind. "My name is Y/N." they looked back at the doctor, seeing he shifted his position and got closer to Y/N.  Y/N could just see it, the doctor, wanted some form of affection. He was deprived of it, it was obvious. Y/N lightly patted the surface of the bed, beckoning the doctor to sit down next to them. Dr. K got closer to Y/N, he was nervous to do such a thing, not knowing much about them, though eventually, he did. 
Y/N wrapped their arms around the doctor, pulling him into a hug. There was a moment of silence. They wondered why the doctor felt so cold, maybe, it had something to do with little to none, human touch. Y/N decided to share their warmth, the doctor seemed to melt at their skill of hands, no longer was he tense. He felt, warm, maybe a bit too warm, because the doctor hadn't adjusted to it, his mask covering his blush-tainted face. Y/N set their hand to his chest, feeling his heartrate increase as they did. The doctor tried to break from the hug, Y/N not letting him. Forcing him, to adjust to the changes. 

Time went on, not much has changed. The doctor fell asleep in Y/N's embrace.  Changes had definitely been made.
