a/n before this chapter I just wanna say chapter 16 was just so bad and practically a filler so yeah don't claim that negativity uh you can pretend it didn't even happen becuz yeah

It's about time.

Eren's titan appeared almost out of thin air, roaring loudly just like he would as a human. I'm surprised nobody could tell that was Eren during the battle of trost with all the yelling. And the green eyes too.

Mikasa was no longer by my side, as expected she went off acting on her own. Which I personally have no problem with at times since she's very skilled. Plus our main objective is to get the girl Annie.

Strangely enough, through this whole mission I've managed to remain completely injury free. Besides the fall with Reiner, but that was practically nothing. I haven't really gotten much action, sadly. Right now it seems like I won't be getting any at all because Eren's now having a full on fist fight.

He lunged forward and roared loudly as his fist flew the female titan back, more buildings crushing on the citizens. I pressed my lips together stoically as my eyes wandered to the small citizens I could see from the roof. They were running around fearfully, some laying on the ground with blood splattered nearby. It was a terrible sight to see.

Annie, the female titan, picked herself back up from the large chunks of broken buildings she was thrown in. She ran through the smoke and dust filling the air, and headed straight to Eren.

By now, all of us scouts were just watching. There was nothing we could do but wait for any emergencies. If anyone were to try interfere, it wouldn't be pretty.

"quite interesting huh?!" Hanji said from next to me, her face centimeters away from mine as she magically appeared next to me. I slowly turned my head, and made eye contact with her. She gave me a surprised look, and grinned.

Stepping back, Hanji spoke again.

"to see the two use combat even in their titan form...oooohh it's just so.. so.." Hanjis eyes sparkled, "BRILLIANT!"

I crossed my arms, and turned my head back to watch. Who cares if they can use combat? Eren needs to just finish this fast before more people are left dead on the street. The air was replaced by dust particles from building residue, and the district has faced immense destruction as a result of this brilliant fighting.

But I can't expect Eren to not fight. It's the only choice here. That still doesn't mean I'm going to find enjoyment in watching when there's so many casualties the citizens have to deal with.

"I'll destroy the entire world!" Eren's demonic titan voice said, his hand wrapping around her face and squeezing. I cringed at the sight, watching as Annie's titan eyes bulged out until they completely flew from her head in a gory manner.

Eren let out animalistic growls, like he was hungry for more. These sounds mixed with the screaming of the female titan, whose healed hands clutched over her empty eye sockets.

She elbowed Eren, and spun around to kick him which sent him flying back into a building. The roof we stood on shook and the titan was closer to us.

"hey!" some soldiers yelped, though I couldn't tell who

Annie began to race to the wall, jumping up in attempt to climb. Eren chased behind and grabbed her leg, biting it. Annie used her other leg to kick Eren off, sending him flying down along with her leg that ripped off. She faced back to the wall and hardened her fingers, rapidly climbing up.

"is she going to climb it?!" Hanji commented, running closer to get a better view.

It was a brutal sight, yet my eyes wouldn't look away.

Mikasa then dove into the middle of it all, her movements swift as ever like usual. She never misses a beat. Eren continued to try and claw at Annie who was climbing up the wall, and Mikasa flew over Annie with her swords at the ready.

She cut her fingers, allowing one of the giant titan arms to drop and release its grip on the wall. Mikasa then repeated the same action with her other hand and landed on Annie's head as she fell down.

Mikasa jumped off, and Annie's body flew all the way back down to the ground. The ground shook as it made contact with the defeated titan, who was left with the wild Eren.

He immediately pounced onto her, raising a fist into the air and slamming it down into her. One of her arms went flying, smashing into another poor building.

"crap, he'll eat the girl inside too!" Hanji said, something serious for the first time. I widened my eyes in response.

"Don't eren!" Jean yelled, as if Eren would hear him.

"Ereh!" Mikasa yelled too, watching as he hovered over the titan with his mouth wide open. He took a large bite and ripped her skin, revealing the small blonde girl inside the beast.

This caused him to pause, and stare down at her.

"huh, what happened?" Hanji said in confusion, projecting the thoughts all of us had as we saw Eren completely stop his actions. He simply stared down at her, unsure on what to do next. What he hesitating? Well, at least he's not trying to eat her.

Suddenly, a blindingly blue light flashed before all our eyes. The flashing lights sent strong waves of winds that reached all of us. I put a hand in the air to cover my eyes from the light, and squinted.

Eren began screaming frantically as his titan started molding together with the female titans body. A crystal started forming around the girl inside, Annie, like a protective cage.

"Ereh!" Mikasa jumped down, ready to interfere again. She stopped, and trailed her eyes elsewhere. I too looked somewhere else when a small figure came speeding towards the two. In spinning motions, they cut Eren free from his titan.

"don't eat a valuable witness, you idiot" Levi said, scolding Eren.

I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding in this whole time. My eyes twitched as I resisted the urge to scan over the district and see all the damage. It was over. The fighting was finally over, and I still don't feel better.

Everyone jumped down to reach the female who was trapped inside an indestructible crystal. I too followed, standing next to Jean who repeatedly hit his sword on the crystal.

short chapter but still better than chapter 16....

also i wanna add more spice between my character and levi but idk what to do without changing the whole mood of the story like CHAPTER 16!!!!!! pls forget that chapter seriously it's haunting me
