Dream's POV (3rd Person, still)

"I hate you!" The words processed through his mind, but before he could even do that, George had walked away angrily muttering words to himself as he slammed the door behind him. This couldn't be happening. After 3 years, how could he make such a horrid mistake? He slumped to the ground, covering his crying face behind his newly wet sleeves. George was gone now, all because him. George hated him. He hated himself, too. How could someone not hate him? He sat there, crying until no more tears fell down his face. He got up and walked to what used to be their bedroom. Not anymore, he thought.
He jumped for his bed, tightly gripping onto the white sheets. Come back, please. He stretched his arm out to grab his Airpods. Slipping them in his ears, he turned on his playlist.

Get over it, he thought, he's not coming back.

Why would I ever do that? I stood by the door, silent. Not that I regret saying everything, but I shouldn't have just left like that. I shouldn't have said I hated him. So why? If anything, I hated myself for saying it.
The thing is, I don't hate him. Not at all, not ever. But it was probably already too late now. Wiping my tears with my sweater sleeve, I now dragged myself down the small apartment buildings stairs.
