The motor shut down and down we go. Splatting into the sand with a loud scream
You coughed out a groaned while you laid in defeat on your back

You spitted out sand you felt on your mouth
"Euck. I hate sand" you irritatingly said, as you grabbed H's hand that he offered to you when he stood up
"Whoo-hoo! We lost the tail" H cheered. You started patting out your suit that felt like you showered with sand. Hypothetically, you did.
"And we nearly lost our heads" you deadpanned
"Now, that..is Hyperdrive" H slapped your back gently. Helping you clean up your hair full of sand. You took your off your ponytail and shook you head making your hair flow on your back
Your hair went above you elbows
"Yeah, yeah. God, I hate sand" M groaned out, standing up
"Haha! The red button was Awesome. Let's press it again" cheered, Pawny
H helped you remove your suit jacket leaving you with the buttoned white shirt
M also taking hers off
Your head went to the moving crystal that Vungus gave you
"Wow" you whispered in awe
"What's it doing" H questioned
"Definitely something it should be doing" you retorted said
"Moving, obviously" M focused her eyes on you
You crawl to it as you kneeled to cradle the moving crystal. Standing up, still observing it, with one move, it turned to a weapon
"Oh, wow" you breathed out
"What is that thing? Be careful with that" H said to you
M pointed at the huge blue ball
"That's the core. It's emitting convective energy across the interior of the photosphere" M explained
"Are you listening and looking, H?" You asked. His brain didn't seem to get what it meant, but he's trying.
"Yeah, I'm looking at it" H took of his glasses. He definitely didn't understand what M said
You tilted you head to look at him, pointing at the core
"Right. I see the..the photosphere bit" he said
"Okay, those are thermonuclear explosions" M continued explaining
"Wait, what? What does that mean? Like a bomb or something?" H asked, having no clue what the living hell the object is.
"Yes, kind of" you answered him then continued
"What we're looking at is a super compressed star. If it is recklessly messed with, then expect to not see another day" you added extra description
"By the color temperature, it's a Blue Giant" M finalized
"Of course, it's a Blue Giant. Oh, wow, I definitely think it's a Red Giant" you sarcastically exclaimed at her
"You both are hard to handle" M shook her head in exhaust
"Let's press the button, let's see what it does" H recommended
"Are you suggesting we try a weaponized star?" M looked at H in a 'hold-up-what-d'yu-say' look
"Yeah, he did" you answered
"Mm-hm. For science and fun" he responded
"The two aren't mutually exclusive, but sure" you replied with a nod and a smile
"I'm pretty sure that's a bad idea" M shared her thoughts
"Well, there is no better place to try this out. It's called Empty Quarter for a reason " you reasoned
M sighed in defeat stepping closer to you, she nodded
"Okay"
"That's why I suggested it. Go" H encouraged X
"Do you think we should try it at 1%?" M suggested making you shake your head vigorously
"Hell, No. We're only trying it out. We're not going to blow up the entire Earth" you said as you set the energy level to .001%
"Okay, let's start off slow" H suggested
"That's what she said" M made an unnecessary comment making you groan out
"M! "
"Woop. Sorry" she apologized with a smile
"I'm pressing the button" you informed making H smile at you, nodding. He's excited to see how this goes
You prayed it doesn't leave a huge ravine in the middle of the desert
"Press it" H said
You started to power it up but it blew out a smoke
"Okay, maybe it needs to--woah!" you were cut off by a huge blast coming from the weapon
H put an arm on your back to help you stay on your feet
Sand formed around after the blast stopped
You three waited for the sand to clear out
"That was the low setting?" asked Pawny
You all looked forward with mouths agape
"Uh, do we think anyone's gonna notice that wasn't there before?" H pointed
The sand cleared up, only to see a huge ravine in the middle of the desert
Definitely the thing you prayed for that wouldn't happen
