Alphonse's mother and father had raised him good and to not judge others on how they look, but that was one weird looking colt.

He had not fur, and no horns, and his legs were straight! He couldn't believe his eyes. But, even if he looked weird, none of the other weird colts or fawns that were like him wanted to be the weird looking kid's friend.

So, of course, being the amazing colt he was, Alphonse walked straight to him, his hooves clacking on the ground and offered his hand.

"Yer sure are one strange lookin Satyr, if I do say so myself."

"I'm not a satyr, I'm a human, and my names Jason, Jason Voorhees, my momma is over there."

"Hmph, the other 'uumens' don't seem to like you, do they?" Alphonse said, crossing his short arms over his chest.

The 'uumen' Jason shook his head, his grey eyes tearing up. "No, they think I'm real ugly."

The colt tilted his head, jeweled green eyes staring at the boy's. "All them 'uumens' are ugly though, personally your the least ugly. Wanna play dragons and knights?"

Jason lit up, and wiped his snotty nose and followed the satyr, the two children playing together happily.

"How many summers are you, Jason?" Alphonse asked, watching the boy think and count on his stumpy fingers, "about 12 I recon."

"12?! I'm only 10 summers! No faiiiirrrrr!" He whined, "everyone's older than me!"

"Your 10? I'd figure you for 13." Jason mutter his eyes focused on a lily not far away.

The saytr's ears wiggled, flustered, as he looked down, a pout drawn on his lips. "Whats your name? I told you mine. My momma says its always polite to tell others your name if they tell you theirs. "

"Alphonse, my mom named me Alphonse." He grunted, laying back, and gazing at the clouds, Jason soon following suite.

"Thats a pretty name!"

"No its not."

"Yes it is!"

"No its not!

"Yes it-"

"ITS NOT PRETTY! ITS HEROIC!" Alphonse yelled and covered his face, kicking his hooves in the air.

"... are you my friend now?"

Alphonse blinked and sat up, looking at the human, his eyebrows raised. "No, but your not allowed to hangout with those gross uumens anymore okay?! Only me."

Jason smiled, knowing he had somehow befriended the saytr boy. "I'll be the bestest friend you'll ever have, promise!"

'My first friend....' echoed in both of the children's minds, not very upset by it.
