Chapter 1 : Reality
POV: Luna Hernandez
"RRiiinnngg rrriiingggg"
It's about 5 am already. Nagising ako sa alarm ko.
my room is at the attic of our house, medyo malaki nadin ung space para sakin since mag isa lang naman ako .
I live in a small subdivision in the province of Tarlac. Tahimik. Dito na ko lumaki since we moved from Taguig when I was 3. Taga dito kasi si papa.
Still, kahit gano ka peaceful dito, they rarely let me out. Nakakaalis lang ako ng house pag pumapasok ako sa school or if I'm with them.
I never had the guts to question them why cause I know they are just being protective, yun ay nung nandito pa sila. Pero a year ago they went to Canada para dun mag work.
"Ringggg rinnnnggggg rinnnggg"
tumunog na nmn alarm clock ko..
Nagmadali akong naligo at magbihis kasi malalate na ko for school.
"Ugh! another day another drama!" sabi ko sa isip ko. kasi i know for sure, pagdating ko sa school, ung walang sawang kaartehan nanamn ng mga classmates ko maririnig ko.
I am an outcast by choice. Sino banaman kasing may gustong maki halubilo sa mga social climbers? If I don't know, sila sila lng nagkakalat ng chismis sa isat isa.
Pero i must admit, i enjoy watching them stab each other's back,
Pero syempre, may mga friends din nmn ako. Wala man cla sa "Popular circle" , they're still lots of fun to be with.
"Luna!", I heard my name being called by a familiar voice. "Hey, Luna! Wait up!" he called again. I looked back and saw a familiar face. Nairita ako. I'm not used to seeing him around,
"Ugh! that insensitive jerk ? anu nanaman kaya sasabihin neto?" isip ko habang nakahinto sa hallway , uwian nadin kasi nun.
"What?" medyo inis kong sabi kay Robert Perez. He is one of the smartest lads in our section, so aun, automatically na kasama sya sa popular circle.
"I'm just wondering, pwede ka bang sumama samin bukas?" tanong nya agad habang nglalakad papunta sa kinatatayuan ko.
"Why?" tipid ako sa mga salita, to show nadin na i'm not interested sa kung anumang pakulo yung pinaplano niya.
"Wala, I just want to be friends, since almost 3 years nadin tayong classmates. We never got to know each other personally" he explained.
"huh? What made you so interested all of a sudden?" gulat na sagot ko. Almost 3 years na ng din kaming classmates at nagkakausap lang kami pag necessary na tlga. And I know he is famous for being a jerk, mayabang kasi siya.
"Eto' naman, I'm just trying to be friendly since last year na natin dito. And, don't worry, di kita sasaktan noh!" pabiro niyang sinabi.
I don't know what came into me at pumayag naman akos a trip nitong lokong toh. We decided to meet up at exactly 2 pm sa isang 7/11 branch near the school before we meet up with the others.
