PROLOGUE

Prologue

Woke up from the constant ringing of the doorbell, I'm currently in my condo. It's too early to wake up. Jet lag pa ako! I just got home from my overseas conference. Nag madali akong nag tungo sa pintuan, the doorbell won't stop ringing.

"Wait! I'm coming!" I shouted.

"Dalian mo!" Gosh, didn't I told her about the passcode of my condo?

I opened the door for Aly at diresto naman siyang pumasok. Nilapag niya ang dalang gown, it looks beautiful. The gown looks majestic. I closed the door at sinundan siya sa kitchen.

"Dinala ko na ang gown mo for tonight's masquerade Party" she said. Damn, I almost forgot about it.

"Hmm" I said while pouring water sa baso.

"The party will start at 10 pm jza I know jet lag kapa pero yung pasalubong ko? Where is it?!" She frantically asked.

"Can you book me an appointment with my make up artist? I want the one who did my oath taking make up" she squealed in excitement and I just laugh it off.

"HEY! Before I'll book you your make appointment, Nasaan ang pasalubong ko?"

"Kunin ko lang sa kwarto" 

Nag tungo ako sa kwarto ko. My room is a mess right now, my luggage is open, clothes are scattered, pasalubong are everywhere. Some of my friends passed by my condo last night to catch up and had some drinks. I gave them their pasolubong. Kinuha ko yung kay aly, just her usual Sephora Perfume. Agad din akong lumabas ng kwarto, I'll clean my room later.

I was about to go out when I remembered I haven't even brushed my teeth yet, I called her telling her to just get it inside my room. I heard footsteps approaching my room. Pumasok ako ng cr para makapag hilamos.

"Have you heard that Xander will be attending tonight's ball?" She said which made me stop midway while rinsing my face.

"Alexander? Yung ex ko na redflag?"

"Girl, halos redflag silang lahat pero, yes him"

Lumabas ako ng bathroom at nag tungo sa closet ko para mag palit ng top.

"Dalawa lang yung ex ko, the rest are just you know, my flings and rebounds" I said as I removed my shirt and change it into a racer back top.

"Whatever! I think rebound mo lang naman si xands eh" That made me stop. I did love him, but not like how I loved HIM.

"I did love him ly but-"

"But not like how you loved your greatest love, I know. Enough with this talk! I ordered food, chandler is on his way pala"

"Bat mo pinapunta? We fought the last time we saw each other, imagine he didn't even waved back to me nung nagkita kami sa airport! Gosh! Nainis ako dun akala mo naman kung sinong artista and what? He is going to reason out na ganun siya mamansin? Sasabihin niya nanaman na "Pinansin Kaya kita nag eye contact nga tayo" like seryoso? " I looked at aly na walang kibo na naka upo sa Vanity chair ko who is trying hard to not laugh.

"What? It's true naman ah" I asked her in an annoyed tone.

"Missed u too jza, I waved back  kusang nauna lang yung pag ikot ng mata mo" I turned my back and saw Chandler standing in front of my room, in his hands are my favorite flavored tub of ice cream I guess bati na Kami?

"Okay, sabi mo eh" I said. He just laugh it off, sanay na sila sa ganito ko.

"Tara sa kitchen, I brought your favorite tub of ice cream. All of your favorite flavors jza!" He said and walked papuntang kitchen area.
