A/N: Oh, my God, it's finally done!! So, I wrote this about a year ago on paper cause I was reeeaaally bored during class, and I've only just gotten around to transcribing it. Then it took me ages to edit as well, and I started to really doubt everything (cause, well, I'm me), but ultimately, I finished it and it's now ready for posting! Harry's always loved his pack. He loved having somewhere to belong, having a purpose in life. As the pack Alpha's one and only child, he got that.
Ever since he was thirteen, the age all children finish school and are assigned jobs, he's been trained to take over for his father. Learning how to maintain a good relationship with other packs, how to rule his own, how to fight, how to care for people.
Despite being one of the pack's strongest alphas at only sixteen years old, he was calm, humble, and understanding. He would most certainly grow to become the best Alpha their pack's ever had.
Unfortunately for him, he was only able to fill one of the two leadership positions, the other one belonging to his future mate.
Which brings us to where we currently are, in the Council Room, watching a train wreck happen. Because although Harry's always loved his pack, right now, he hates it.
"You want me to what?"
He got up from his seat, chair dragging noisily on the floor, hands slapping over the mahogany tabletop, eyes glowing red in annoyance. There is no way this is happening.
"Harry, please calm down, you're being entirely unprofessional."
He glared at Robin.
"Well, I'm sorry if my reluctance to have my life ruined is bothersome to you."
Anne rolled her eyes from next to her husband.
"Your life is not being 'ruined', as you so kindly put it. You knew this was coming. An Alpha needs an Omega, you included."
"But I don't even know them!"
His voice boomed, echoing off the high ceilings like it was coming from everywhere all at once. Most of the omegas on the council were shrinking away, and even a few of the alphas looked put off.
"His name's Louis, he turned thirteen last December. He started his training at the beginning of the summer and he's already doing wonderfully!"
His mother reassured him, or tried to, at the very least.
