"Can you hear me?" |Chase and Henrik angst

CW: Hospital, Mention of a superslide, Mentions of self harm and as always drinking mentions

Chase laid in the hospital bed. Unconscious, he was in a coma and had for a while. Chase was put in a medical induse coma because of his attempt. Henrik hasn't been the same since, he broke with his drinking problem and with him burning himself. But he didn't plan on stopping, he couldn't. Henrik was also laid off from the hospital because he showed up to work drunk. He stayed in the room Chase was in most times and he went home when one of the others told him to go home. But when he went home, he went straight to his room and locked the world out until he was able to go back to Chase. His love. He couldn't think of what he was without him. He would try talking to him even though he wasn't really answering since well. He was still in a coma.

     Henrik was just forced yet again to go home. Jackie and him sat in the car driving back home, it was quiet at first until Jackie noticed Henrik continued to rub his sleeves against something.

"Are your arms ichy?" Jackie asked, Henrik didn't answer he just kept doing it.
Jackie ended up pulling up on the side of the road.

"Henrik answer me. You have shut us out for to long."
Henrik sighed and looked at Jackie, He finally got a good look at Henrik. He had bad eye bags, his face was in a frown. He always looked sad.

"What is up with you?" Henrik gave a "isn't it noticeable?" Look to Jackie.

"Yes I know about Chase. But what else been eating at you?" Henrik didn't answer and looked out the window, Jackie sighed and started to drive again.

"You know you can't keep all that bottle up Henrik." Jackie said while driving,
Henrik responded in a quiet voice.
"I know. But I'll try."
Was all he said looking out the window, the rest of the car ride was a quiet one. When they got there Henrik walked up to his room then closed it he didn't lock it this time. He was so tired so when he laid on his bed he was out like a light.

The next day came and as soon as he awoke and got dressed he sneaked downstairs and got into his car and drived up to the hospital. He got there and Chase was still in the coma, why would it be any different? Henrik sat in his seat and let out a sigh.
"Vhy can't I have du back vith me.."
Henrik whispered in a hushed tone. Henrik grabbed Chase's hand and held it. And Henrik sat like that until he's stomach was yelling at him. Henrik sighed and got up,
"I'll be back."
He said walking out of the room going to the vending machine and getting some chips and a drink. He took his drink and looked at the board that had everyone's times for surgerys. He missed what he did,what he worked for. But that is gone. And forever will be. He walked back to Chase's room and saw the Nurse doing their routine checking things.

"How ist er looking at ze moment?"

The nurse turned and looked at Henrik then back at Chase.

"He looks a lot better than last week they are planning to wake him up soon"
Henrik for the first time and what seems like in forever he smiled.

"Really? time frame?" Henrik asked his excitement growing.

"I'll have to ask for sure but at least within the month!" Henrik smiled and looked at Chase.

"Danke for telling me this great news" The nurse nodded and left the room. Henrik walked over next to Chase and gently kissed his forehead.
"Du vill be vith us zoon."
Henrik was there for the rest of the day but he was happy. He was cheery the only good news in what seemed like forever. One of the egos did the normal let's get Henrik this time it was Anti and Robbie that was sent to go get him. Anti leaned against the door frame of Chase's room and let Robbie go to Henrik and Chase, he unlike the others let Henrik stay a bit longer.
