It was a completely normal night, a nice temperature, slightly misty, and a little cloudy. It was a nice night. For anyone else, this night would be seen as normal but not for me. You see, I decided to try and sleep today, despite the nightmares I'm faced with every time I fall asleep. The nightmares always consist of me and a weird figure. The figure is my old imaginary friend that I've had since I was a child.
It is roughly 8' tall with red eyes. It seemed to be crying blood it also had large black wings and black horns. Its body was entirely black despite some of its face dripping with what appeared to be blood. I never sleep because of him.
I don't know what he wants but I know that if he catches me it won't be good.
Now, you might be wondering how I got into this mess. Well, it all started when I was younger. When I was younger, I had an imaginary friend. This imaginary friend would always tell me to do things that got progressively more and more dangerous. I was a child at the time, so I didn't notice, and I would do them without thinking. Whenever my parents came around, they would always hide. It was almost as if I was scared of them. I always wondered why, but I never questioned it. I just assumed that he didn't want his parents to see him because he was scary. Not to me, though! God, I was such a stupid child. It's fine, though.
I guess I just have to live with it. That night, I couldn't sleep. It had been a few weeks before I would sleep again, but when I did, it wasn't good. That was the start of my nightmares. It started with me running in a forest, where I turned around and saw him. My imaginary friend only this time, was angry. I remember one of my friends had nightmares like this, but then my friend disappeared. I quickly realized that I needed to run or wake myself up so running I did. Then I woke up. I instantly went to tell my mom about the nightmare. I woke her up very quickly. My mom was a middle-aged lady with long, curly, grey hair. She was always so caring so I thought that she had to believe me right?! I was wrong.
"Mama mama!!" I cried while running over to her.
"What is it, my sweet baby boy?" The gray-haired woman asks.
"I'm gonna die!" I start explaining the dream, the imaginary friend, everything.
"Don't worry honey you're fine!! This monster thing isn't real and cant hurt you! Now, how about you sleep with me tonight..." The kind woman smiled at the little boy and lifted him into her bed. She then tucks the little blondie in and falls asleep. The young boy, however, not so much.
