It was the start of my junior year in High school knowing that I was almost done gave me the power to get through this day. That and my friends of course I wouldn't have been able to make it this far without them.

I see them standing next to a tree in front of the school that's usually where we all meet up in the mornings I jump out of my car and wave bye to my mom as she waves goodbye and speeds away.

I'm pretty anti social i guess some would call me I'm not a loner and no one hates me at this school but i like to drift in the background and get by trying to be unnoticed. I see my friends Zara and Lux along with our other friends we had met in the summer Beckett and Flynn they both had recently moved and came from the same private school but they were really cool and we all became really great friends.

" Hey guys " I made sure my smile was very visible.

" Oh my god your braces there gone!" Zara screamed.

" Finally it's been what 3 years" lux laughed.

" Yea I know it feels so weird I'm sad In a way I'm going to miss them but now my teeth are finally perfectly straight." I smiled again at the boys as they have me a thumbs up.

Oh I forgot to introduce my self I'm Amy. Amy Brooks if you want to get all fancy I have brown hair that reaches to my mid back and brown eyes and tannish skin. I think that's all your really should know right ?

Anyways as we all caught up since we didn't get too see each other that last couple weeks of summer.

It felt like everyone who was talking had stopped they all just stared and the silence really got to me I was curious why everyone was quiet but then I quickly realized why.

River O'conner just walked into the school along with Hunter and Blake Rivers friends.

All the girls were in awe as they all walked passed them and the guys tried to act cool but you knew inside they were freaking out as well.

I could see Lux and Zara smile as they stared I couldn't help but roll my eyes. This was stupid everyone was praising them like they were some god.

I walked up to try to get my friend out of their trance that's when I slipped out of the background and my personal bubble burst.

As I walked to grab Zara and Lux Rivers eyes met mine and he stared deeply at me I felt actually really awkward about it. He walked up to me and smiled.

" Hey are you new here?" He asked me

Are you kidding me I've been at this school since freshman year plus I went to elementary with him and he just noticed me now.

" No I'm not new your in my photo class you idiot" everyone then stared at me oh shit I said that out loud.

He just continuously stared at me up and down and I kinda felt a little violated.

" Well I'll make sure to say hi to you sometime " he smirked and winked at me as he walked back to his friends.

Uhm ok then?

Everyone continued there talking as Zara and Lux were yelling at me for being so rude.

I honestly thought I wasn't being rude and the boys gladly agreed with me.

Well such an interesting start to the school year.
