A land whose soil is blessed
Her rivers flow like honey
Now tainted by the blood of her people
Where did I go wrong she asks
The innocent children of yesterday
Are now mad power seekers
Who should I blame
The sins of my children are too much to cleanse
They murder their kin
Peel of the skin of their friends
Bury the body of strangers
All for power
My rivers can't wash away
The blood from their hands
The guilt of their wrongs
Weighs heavily on my mind
A voice from the distance echoes
"Love is the only way"
