The Lion Guard: Kion X Rani

Chapter 5.

"I'm fi--!" Kion couldn't finish, as he started coughing again, some water spilling out, as he finally calmed down and rubbed his eyes, which had his scar on it, while groaning.

"Hey sweaty, maybe when we are at the tree of life, you can get your eye checked out... you have been in pain with it for a while now." Nala pointed out, as King Simba nodded, as well as Kiara.

"No, I'm fine. Now, let's just continue our journey, the sooner we finish the btter." Kion whispered, as Nala and Simba shared the same look, but started walking again into the rain forest, Kion following.

It has been around an hour, as Kion panted, him being all sweety, as Kiara was also panting, but wasn't as hot, as Simba and Nala was up front, till they all came to a stop, Kion bumping into Kiara but quickly backing away and then walking upto his parents side to find them looking at a breath taking view.

"Woah..." Kiara muttered from beside him, as in the distance Kion could see a massive wall looking thing, with a slit goign down the middle. Kion squinted his eyes. It was probally roughtly, half an hour away if they ran half away, then walked the rest, without a break, but it would most likely take an hour.

"That massive wall thing... it that the Tree Of Life?" Kion asked, as Nala smiled at him while nodding.

"Yep! That would be the Mountain Pass. But, it would probally take roughly..." Nala trailed off, trying to figure out some maths, as Kion looked around.

"If we ran half way, then walked the rest, no break, half an hour, but with one rest, and walking at a quick paste, an hour maybe?" Kion said, as Nala smiled at him.

"Yeah, you seem right. Now, let's start going again!" Nala said, as they all started walking away from the cliff ledge. Kion looked around, as his eyes landed onto a ledge, but rhe just shrugged then started following his family.

"Hey Kion!" Kiara shouted, as she ran over to him but she slipped, as she skidded down the hill, towards the eldge of the cliff, as they were on a slope.

"Kiara!?" Kion shotued, trying to grab her, as there parents turned arolund and gasped.

Kion looked around, till his eyes landed onto the ledge beside Kiara, where she was skidding towards. His eyes showed determination, as he slowly skidded down towards a small ledge, with his claws out, to make sure he didn't slip up by mistake.

Kion smirked too himself, as he reached it and jumped onto it, almost falling off as he quickly looked up at hearing a scream. His sister, was comign down. Fast.

"Kiara!" Kion shouted, as Kiara could just about manage to turn her head and see her brother behidn her standing onto a ladge, "Trust me!"

Kiara breathed in and out, befor realeasing her claws out of the ground, and rolled onto her back, as she waved her arms about, as all of a sudden she screamed, when she felt herself drop, but she slowly squinted her eyes open, when she was dangering off of the cliff, her brother having her scruff in his mouth, as he sighed in relief and puleld her up.

"Thank you Kion!" Kiara screached out, as she jumped up and nuzzerled Kion, as there parents skidded down to them and stood on the ledge and hugged Kiara, then Kiara turning to Kion.

"Yeah, well you were lucky I was here! Because if I wasn't, you would more likely be dead, not if years ago." Kion said in a joking manner, making Kiara gasp dramitcally.

"That's rude!" Kiara shouted, as Nala and Simba chuckerled, then started climbing back upto where they we're before, Kiara and Kion following, but of course Kion right behind Kiara, pushing her up the hill making sure she didn't loose her grip or even slip once!
