"First stop! Pomefiore!"

Cater led Y/N and Riddle out of the Heartslabyul dorm and out into the Hall of Mirrors. There were plenty of students around, and as they walked, Y/N subtly took in the features of each one. Some she recognized from her classes, or from when she had heard their names in the halls, but some of the other ones she didn't recognize as easily.

Cater pulled her through the mass of students, keeping an arm wrapped around her waist to make sure that she didn't get lost. The first time that Y/N had come to Pomefiore, she hadn't taken the time to actually admire the mirror portal, but this time, she made Cater pause so that she could admire the sheer beauty and elegance of the mirror.

An elegant silver frame decorated with a beautiful silver peacock holding a poison apple in its beak sat atop the mirror, its talons hidden behind the crest of the dorm. Its tail feathers swept around the mirror like a fan. Two candles were mounted on the wall and were burning with beautiful purple flames, making the crystals below sparkle like deadly daggers.

"Let's go," Y/N said, pulling Cater through the mirror excitedly.

"Wait! Slow down N/N!" But Cater was laughing along with her.

The trio entered Pomefiore and Y/N led them to the lounge, where she knew that Rook liked to hang out. He was usually there when Y/N came to visit, and it almost seemed to be a part of his routine at this point. He would hang out there during his free time, which he had right now because of an empty spot in his schedule. A lot of third years had a free block at some point in the day.

"First up," Cater said as he pushed open the door. "Pomefiore Dorm. I've marked third year Rook Hunt in my 'Cater Check'."

Y/N decided not to question the name. Instead, she looked around for her Pomefiore friends.

"His trademarks are his blond bob and hat."

"Last year, Rook was a standout player," Riddle said, searching the room for the famed student. "But, there's something off about him..."

"Rook," Y/N exclaimed, noticing the three of her friends sitting underneath one of the chandeliers. Thankfully, it was just Epel, Rook, and Vil, so Y/N felt much more comfortable approaching their little group.

Her uniform had changed once more upon entering the dorm, this time with a longer skirt that seemed to trail behind her, so Y/N was forced to pick up the fabric to approach her friends. She carefully weaved through the groups of students, her smile growing as she approached the group.

"Non non, little Epel. It is not elegant to put your fingers through the handle when you drink tea." It seemed like the youngest of the three was receiving a lesson on tea time etiquette. Y/N flinched when she heard Rook telling Epel not to put his fingers through the handle. It was something she did often, though most of the time she was alone when she drank tea. Or coffee for that matter.

"Ah, all right. I'm so sorry." Epel quickly shifted his hands around to try and avoid what he had just done.

Vil seemed less than interested in the tea lesson, though he seemed to be watching. "I am still undecided about the makeup for the tournament. I'm very curious about the new foundation from Felicite Cosmetics." He handed a magazine to Rook who took it while stealing a sip from his tea.

Rook laughed gaily as he took the magazine from Vil. "Ha ha ha! My lovely Vil, our Roi du Poison! Your light is not so fleeting that it needs cosmetics to compensate."

"I am aware, my dear. But if I want to aim one rank higher, I can't hold back."

"Wonderful! That spirit of yours. It is truly marvellous!"
