Chapter 7: The hashira's arrival.

"ZENITSU!" I yelled...actually maybe I shouldn't have done that it's embarrassing.

"Oh y/n didn't expect to see you here how have you been," he asked.

"I'm fine actually, you're music was pretty good you know," I complemented.

"Really! I've never done anything like that before," he gushed.

"Really I never would have guessed that," I told him.

He got up from his seat and left to talk with me for a while. So I asked him something very obvious.

"Why are you dressed up as a girl," I questioned hoping it was for a valid reason.

Zenitsu's face darkened. "A stupid Hashira made us dress up for a mission so he can find his wives," He complained.

"A Hashira," I thought "Thats going to be trouble for Gyutaro isn't it,"

"Y/n," Zenitsu called snapping me back to reality. "Are you ok," he asked.

"I'm fine I just zoned out for a second," I replied apologetically.

"It's fine," he said.

We talked for a while until Zenitsu ran off he must have heard something. I decided to follow him because I don't want him getting killed.

I saw him entering a room and knew immediately what he had heard...Daki. I had to follow him now so I entered too.

"Just what do your think you're doing to this girl," Zenitsu said threateningly to Daki. I just noticed he was grabbing her arm she won't like that.

"Get you're filthy hands off of me," She snapped at him.

Her eyes landed on me I don't think she realised the reason I was in her room. She must have thought I needed to ask her something.

The owner barged in only a second later putting an end to what would have been a gruesome fight.

"Y/n come with me Please," She asked.

Zenitsu looked terrified. No that was an understatement. He was mortified I gave him a look telling him it was ok. He wasn't exactly reassured but I could tell he trusted me to do this.

I went with her intrigued. Did she bring Gyutaro? What does she want to talk about?

"Y/n did you know that demon slayer back there," she said in a cold tone.

"I met the demon slayer before when I was staying in a hotel," I replied.

"Was there a hashira with him?" She asked.

"No at least I don't think so," I told her.

"Ok," As she said this she started to walk off.

"Was their anything else you wanted," I asked.

"No you can leave now," She replied.

I walked out the room. I should explain everything to Zenitsu. Well almost everything I think he would freak out if he knew about Gyutaro. Knocking on his door my eyes caught a glimpse of Daki yelling at another girl, poor her.

I entered his room quietly I saw the girls he had helped all crowding around him. Good he's safe. I decided to leave as I didn't want to disturb him.

As I left I felt a hand cover my mouth and someone pull me backwards I tried to get away but then I realised who it was. Gyutaro. What's he doing I thought he was supposed to be looking after Daki?

"Gyutaro!?," I whisper yelled at him. "What are you doing here," I exclaimed again.

"Uh- I dunno I just saw you and was bored and I felt bad about leaving you earlier," he replied embarrassed.

"Oh ok then" I said.

"Can you maybe elaborate on the hashira thing , like do you plan on fighting with him," I asked him.

"I'll be fighting with him alright but I just have to keep a closer eye on Daki," he replied.

"Hm ok," I said. I didn't really know what to talk about since we were just standing in a shaded hallway.

"Y/n~" I heard Zenitsu call me from the other room.

"Sorry Gyutaro I've go to go," I told him.

"Ok," He replied, I felt bad leaving him but I don't want Zenitsu to get suspicious. So I have to leave him.

I walked towards Zenitsu and called his name he was rambling about how scary Daki was and how he was so glad she didn't kill him. We must have talked for ages as it started to get quite dark.

"I'm going to head back to my room now," I said.

"Oh thats fine see you tomorrow," He replied.

After a long and tiring day I finally got to sleep. I don't normally dream about stuff so I assume today will be the same.

~~~~~~~~~The Next Day~~~~~~~~~

I woke up to see someone in my room it was the girl Zenitsu had helped yesterday she seemed stressed and anxious. I asked her what was wrong.

"Zenko (Zenitsu) Is missing," She said in distraught.

Zenitsu was missing. How who could have possibly have taken him a demon. Then I realised it was Daki I've been spending too much time with them so I forgot they killed people. I just hope Zenitsu is alright.

When the girl left I was just about to close my window when I saw Tanjiro and was that Inosuke!

I called out to them and they were shocked that I was here. Quickly they rushed over asking me all sorts of questions like why am I here? Have I seen a demon?

"Have you seen Zenitsu?" Tanjiro asked

I didn't reply.

Inosuke then yelled at me saying where's Monitsu.

I told them everything I knew and when I looked up Tanjiro face was horrified and Inosuke was shocked to say the least. They then regained their Composure and said they had to meet with someone and left.

During all this I couldn't help but think this was partly my fault. I could have stopped Daki if only I had made more of an effort to do so.

I then closed the curtains to my room and went of to do my usual duties except this time Zenitsu wasn't here.

Hello it's the author here sorry I haven't updated in a few days  I've been busy with homework. I'll try to get another chapter done today.
Next time Chapter 8: The beginning of a battle.
