A small fish once lived in a pond, they were very a happy fish. They were fed twice a day by the people who would pass by. Everything felt perfect, but the fish wondered if there was more to this life. They watched from the tips of the water, seeing families enjoying the day. Kids were playing, the parents were conversing among themselves. They pondered on the moment, thinking and wondering if they could experience what they are feeling. The pond was an amazing place, they loved it with all their heart. But every day it started to feel smaller. More fish would appear, the food becoming less and less. They knew they couldn't survive in this place. So, they went back home under an old rock. They thought of all the things that could be out there, the life those people were living could be there's. They felt like they needed to leave.

But how? They've only ever known this pond. Everything they know is here, and the more they think about it, the more comfortable they are here. They left their home, and traveled around the pond, seeing an old shoe someone had forgotten, a soda can and an old toy boat. They all had a story that ended up here in the pond. They wondered if this is where their story ends. Maybe they aren't supposed to leave. Maybe the pond is my home for good. They thought about this for a while. There were fish swimming around, it seemed like they were content with their surroundings. Playing amongst each other and enjoying the company they had. But he saw one fish, an older grumpier fish. They wondered if that would be them when they're older. The grumpy fish would also look out of the pond, and towards the families playing and enjoying the day.

A day had passed, they thought about everything they saw. The content nature their fellow fish had living in the pond, with their curious yet almost whimsical nature of the outside world. The grumpy fish would constantly pop into their head. They didn't want to end up like them. So that night, they surveyed the pond more. They never realized how big it was until now, while looking around he noticed The Grumpy Fish was looking up at the moon. Almost mesmerized by its shining glow. The nights were usually dark, but during a full moon the pond would like up, sparkling in all its beautiful glory. They thought about it again. If what they're doing is what they really want to do. The Grumpy Fish saw them and approached them. Slowly he swam towards them, almost menacingly in nature. The Grumpy Fish looked into their eyes. They knew what they were doing, he looked to his left, showing a small pipe with a broken grate. The Grumpy Fish looked back, before slowly swimming past them. The old pipe was something they had never noticed before. They quickly swam over, before looking back The Grumpy looking Fish was nowhere to be found. They looked inside the pipe, it looked dark and deep. A hole that could go on for miles. They looked back once again, realizing if they did this they may never return. This was still their home; they loved this place. All the fish here were their friends. They took one last look up towards the moon, its beauty captivating. Almost to the point of making them stay. They entered the pipe and into the unknown they went.

A journey awaits them.
