The king and queen of Mirkwood were sitting on their thrones talking and smiling, when they hear their son and daughter arguing again. They look up and see them walking on a path way arguing even louder, they look at each other and shakes their heads.
Legolas is yelling at his sister saying ( Rose that Elon was trying to court you it's not allowed), Rose slowly turns around to look at her brother. She grabs Legolas by his collar and says ( you don't tell me what is allowed and what isn't, the only elf's to tell me what to do is Ada and Naeth), she lets go and walks away. Legolas looks down and see's his Mother and Father looking up at him, he quickly walks away.
Y/N sighs and rubs her forehead, Thandruill just smirks. Y/N says ( I'm going to have to talk to Rose, she is of age now. I must prepare her), Thandruill just looks at Y/N and says ( she is still young she isn't interested in elons yet). Y/N looks at her husband and says( she is interested in one elon my love, but won't tell me his name) she rises from her throne and walks down the steps and goes to find her daughter. Thandruill is left speechless thinking his daughter might be in love.
Y/N finds Rose in the kitchens, eating some cake. She smiles at the cooks and sits next to her daughter, Rose looks at her mother and says( elons are the worse), everyone in the kitchen laughs. Y/N strokes her daughters hair( you have learned that very young, took me till I was 4000 years old), the main cook says ( took me till I was 6000 years old, but we still fall for them). Y/N smiles at her( your brother is trying to protect you, but is going about it wrong). Y/N kisses her temple,( your uncle was much worse when he found out I loved your father), Rose looked at her shocked. Y/N tells her what Elrond tried to do to stop her from loving Thandruill, Y/N says( just give your brother and Father Time, it's hard for them seeing you grow up).
Y/N finds Thandruill talking to Legolas, Legolas keeps nodding at his father. They both see Y/N walking towards them, she asks if everything is ok they nod. Legolas leaves for patrol and Thandruill hugs Y/N, he whispers ( it was easier when Legolas came of age). Y/N smiles and nods( we just have to give her time, and if she has fallen for someone we must be gentle) she looks at Thandruill when saying that. He smirks and nods.
