Chapter 1

Emmett POV (Human)

"Come on Emmett, we are going in 10 minutes!" called father, hitching up his rifle and checking on his bullets. "Just getting my coat father!" I replied hastily, snatching up my "Bear hunting" jacket and hoisting it on my shoulder.

It was bear season, when they were getting close to hibernation so that they are nice and tired... I jumped out my window and ran to pa.

"Be cautious son." He grunted, patting my head. "Why's that pa?" I said grinning. "Well a sleepy bear may be tired, but its still a grizzly." he joked and raced towards the woods.

I smirked, he could never get far. I jogged up to him, and together we went into the forest.

"Up here Emmy, up here..." whispered father, quietly inviting me to join him. I scooted over, and saw the most marvellous creature. "Now thats my catch," I said, and without thinking, sprinted towards the bear.

Rosalie POV 

"Rosalie dear!" called a voice of windchimes. My head snapped towards the house, where Esme sat by the window.

"Yes Esme?" I said, twirling my hair between my fingers. "Esme, don't bother her, she was thinking about how much she wishes Royce King will roast in hell." snickered a voice from beind Esme.

Edward strode towards the window and said, "How about you go and kill a deer, and pretend it is him?" 

I snarled and turned my head back to the flowers. But he was right. I was pretty thirsty...

I whipped out a mirror from my always occupied pocket. Hmmm... I smiled as I turned the mirror to take in all the angles of my face. I always somehow feel relieved whenever I see myself.

Especially when I remind myself that I am impossibly, irresistably and exquisitely beautiful.

I heard another low chuckle from the window and I snapped the mirror close to my chest.

I rose up from the bench I was sitting on and turned towards the nearby forest.

"Fine, if you need me, I am going hunting!" I growled, but still succeeding in making my voice trill like church bells.
