Two fools in love

My baby's having a baby

The next morning Danny gets up early and calls the doctor to make an appointment for Jessica,

He goes to wake her as gently as possible,
"Hey babydoll, I called your doctor and they can see you in and hour."
"Oh great, thank you Danny."
"How are you feeling?"
"Like I've thrown up my actual stomach!"
"Aw, my poor baby."

She gets up and takes a shower,
She looks at herself naked in the mirror,
"I just said the other day I looked pudgy, but I don't think I'm pregnant." She thinks to herself, as she looks at her stomach, rubbing and poking at it.
She notices the the bottom right above her pubic bone is firm,
"Maybe I am pregnant! The bottom of my stomach is tighter, my boobs were major sore when Danny and I were fooling around... Oh my gosh, this is crazy! Leave it to Danny to knock me up!" She laughs.

They get to the hospital and before they walk in Danny turns to Jessica, holding her hands and looking into her eyes he says,
"Jessica, no matter what the results are, I want you to know that I love you more than anything in the world and I'll be right here, by your side the whole time."
"Aw, I love you too Danny! Thank you for saying that, and for being such an amazing man, and making me feel safe!" She says as they lean in for a kiss.

She fills out paperwork and sits there for what seems like an eternity,
Then finally she hears.
"Ms. Lange, the doctor will see you now."
They stand up, and Danny grabs her hand before walking in, giving her a smile. She smiled back, right there in that moment they already kind of knew the outcome, and that everything was going to be okay.

The nurse comes in and asks her what's wrong,
Jessica tells her, her symptoms and the nurse writes everything down,
She leaves to get something and when she comes back she hands her two different kinds of pregnancy tests.
Danny looks at her and smiles "I told you!"
She gives him a half some with her lips slightly puckered while standing up to go to the restroom.

"Okay Ms. Lange we're going to take this to the lab right now, if you don't mind please take off your pants and underwear and have a seat right here." The nurse says directing her to the stirrups.

Laying there waiting for the doctor to come in Danny tries to get her to be as relaxed as possible.
He stands there and looks at her, "I think we need one of these at home!"
"Haha, Danny! You're crazy!"
"I love you so much babydoll, you look gorgeous today."
"Thank you Danny, I love you too!"

They spend the next few minutes having a casual conversation, then they here a knock on the door followed by the doctor coming in and saying "Well hello Mr. And Mrs. Huston, how are y'all doing?"
Both Danny's and Jessica's stomachs drop, they all of sudden got 100 times more nervous, they were about to hear something that could change their lives forever.
"We're pretty good." Jessica says
"How about yourself?" Danny adds
"I'm pretty good, thanks for asking.
Alright, so Jessica I'm gonna have a quick look if that's okay with you." He says while putting gloves on.
"Yeah that's fine."
"We're still waiting on your text results to come back, it'll be another five or ten minutes. If you're not pregnant we'll put you on some medicine and kick that bug out of you, sound good?"
"Sounds good!" Jessica says, her voice is kinda shaky from being nervous."

The doctor lifts up Jessica's shirt just enough for him to feel the bottom of of stomach, and sticks two fingers up to feel her cervix.

Danny stands right by Jessica's side and holds her hand.
"Alright, without even seeing the test Jessica, I can tell you that..
You are pregnant!"
"What!" She says surprised and tears forming in her eyes.
"Oh my gosh babydoll that's amazing!" Danny tears up and leans over to kiss Jessica.
"How can you know for sure." She asks.
"Well your uterus feels like it's already about the size of a grapefruit, which means you are probably around 8 weeks pregnant. I can also tell by your cervix."
"Wow... I.. I just can't believe this. I'm so happy!" She looks at Danny and squeezes his hand and does a little happy dance in her seat.
The nurse walks in with the results, the doctor looks at it and says "I was right! You're pregnant Ms. Lange!"
Jessica lets out a little "EEEEK!!", her cute little eyes were wide opened with excitement and a huge smile from ear to ear while still squeezing Danny's hand.

"If y'all have time we can do a quick ultrasound, and measure your stomach to see how far along you are."
"Yes! Of course we have time!" Jessica says in a extremely happy voice!
The doctor puts the cold ultrasound gel on her tiny belly "This is gonna be a little cold" he says,
She flinches when it touches her skin and lets out a little giggle.
She looks up at Danny and he leans down to kiss her. "I love you babydoll." He whispers,
"I love you too Mr. Huston."

The doctor starts to move the scan around her belly, all of a sudden they see a small but very strong little heartbeat, and they hear the most beautiful sound they've ever heard before...it was their baby's heartbeat.

"Oh that's that's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen or heard in my entire life!" Jessica says with tears in her eyes.
"Oh my gosh that's my...that's our baby Jessie!" A tear falls from his face.
"Aw, my baby!" She says as she wipes his tears and pulls his face in to kiss his lips.

He measures her stomach and says "Yeah it looks like you're about 8 weeks.
He hands them the ultrasound pictures,
"Oh my gosh this is so crazy!" Jessica says looking at them, "That little person is inside of me right now!" She says as she puts her hand over her belly with a big smile on her face.

After Jessica gets dressed they leave the doctors office, waiting for the elevator Jessica stands with her back up against the wall, Danny puts his hands on her waist and his face close to hers,
"I've never been so happy in my whole life, I can't wait to start this new journey with you, my love. My baby's having a baby!" He rubs her belly and goes to his knees and says "Hi baby! I'm your daddy! I love you!"
Jessica rubs his head and smiles down at him.

They get in the car and Jessica texts Sarah,

"Hey, come to my house RIGHT NOW!! I need to talk to you!!"

"I'm on my way, are you okay?"

"I'm fine."

They get to the house and Sarah gets there a few minutes later,
She knocks on the door and Jessica runs to open it,
"Hey Jess what's wrong? Your text scared the hell out of me!" She says with a concerned look on her face.
"I just wanted to see your face..." She says with a cheeky grin.
"My face? Jessica what are you talking about?" She says looking rather confused.
"When I tell you that you're always right!"
"What?" Sarah asks.
Jessica grabs Danny's hand and with a big smile she says...
"I'M PREGNANT!"
"What the fuck?! Are you Kidding me?!"
"No I'm serious!" She says showing her their ultrasound pictures.
"Oh my gosh Jessica, I can't believe this! I'm so happy for you too! And I AM ALWAYS right, aren't I?!"
"So how far along are you?"
"I'm 8 weeks! I think we're gonna wait a couple weeks before we tell anyone else, but I really wanted to let you know!"
"Well thank you Jess! I love y'all! Congratulations!"
She hugs Danny, then hugs Jessica, she goes down to her knees and rubs Jessica's belly and says... "Hi baby Lange! I'm your auntie Sarah! I can't wait to meet you!"
