Paige had walked inside of her new home that night, just as Aaron finished setting the table.

"Hey, did you like Jessie's boys?" Aaron asked

"They are nice kids, Ron walked me here I think he may have a small crush on me" Paige said laughing

"Do you blame the kid? You are young, beautiful and very intelligent" Eric said flashing a smile to the woman, resulting in her blushing.

"Thank you" Paige said

"No need to thank me, sit. Let's eat" Eric said as he put some spaghetti on her plate

"Wine?" Aaron asked

"I haven't had any since before the outbreak, yes please" Paige said excited for some alcohol

Aaron poured her a half glass, and poured his own. Eric deciding to drink water that night, as they had drank wine the night before. Paige brought the glass to her lips, letting the red liquid glide down her throat. She sat the glass back down, taking her fork in her hand and began to eat the delicious warm meal. She ate slow, not wanting to cause herself to get sick.

They made small talk, mainly asking Paige questions about her life before the outbreak. Paige laughed and told them stories from her childhood, the adults indulging in wine and laughter. After their dinner, Paige helped Eric wash dishes, even though he had argued that he didn't need help.

Paige walked to her room, taking her jeans off her body and crawling under the warm blankets. She fell asleep rather easy that night, nightmares not haunting her as they had most nights. She finally got a sleep that felt as if it was enough for her frail body.

She had awoken to the sun in her eyes the next morning, warming her entire face. She smiled and looked to the clock to see it said eight in the morning, causing her to sit up and bask in the suns warmth. She found herself sitting in the same position for nearly an hour, the most peaceful she had felt in a long time. As nine o'clock neared, Paige stood from the bed and dressed in a pair of dark blue jeans and a long sleeve black shirt. Paige brushed her hair back and proceeded to put it into a tight braid, happy with her appearance she slipped her boots on and tucked her knife into her pocket. She made her bed up and walked out the door, down the stairs that lead right into the kitchen.

"Good morning, would you like some coffee?" Aaron asked as Eric sat reading a book and Aaron made himself a cup of hot coffee.

"Black, please" Paige replied, walking over to stand near Aaron

"Jessie brought some shoes and more clothing over, along with some feminine products" Aaron said showing the woman the big box that sat near the stairs.

Paige nodded her head, taking a small sip of the hot coffee. Making small talk with Aaron, before she set out to meet Heath at the gate. Noticing the tall man with dark black dreads and black glasses.

"Hey, you are going to want to pack a bag, we found a good place to scavenge but we are leaving now. Meet me back here in fifteen minutes, pack light" Heath said to her, causing the girl to nod before she turned on her heel and ran back to Aaron's.

As she walked through the door, Aaron perked his head up. "That was fast"

"He said we are leaving now, so I need to pack" Paige said picking the box up and walking into her room, not noticing she had dropped a bra that slid under a stand. Neither of the men caught sight of the bra, focusing back on their books. Paige grabbed a duffle bag from the linen closet and packed the necessities which included tampons, under garments, and some clothing.
