Born without emotions would seem like a gift, never having to experience heartbreak, not having to experience burning anger that courses throughout the entire body. But alas, tis a cliche thing that an emotionless longs to be emotional.
His eyes never looked that way, following orders from His creator would do Him well till the end of time. Though, He had cried once. That is considered an emotional reaction, right? When She had touched His cheek, inspecting a wound, He swore there was a spark. Maybe that was their magics interacting, despite the shivers.
So maybe He hadn't been entirely emotionless.
Though, what does that matter now? Fully embracing His impurity, She and He were now together. Star and Arlex, the couple that can't be beat, no matter the enemy. The Unkillable Duo, quite a funny name as both have been revived before.
Arlex had seen Her like that before, now that He realizes that. He had always longed to be by Her side, despite the differences in ranks. But what does that matter now? They were nearly the same rank, just separated by who's more powerful.
Of course, He was born without emotion, so expressing anything for His Love was difficult, to say the least. But through years of hardship and learning, He has gotten to a comfortable level.
And as He realizes this, through His line of sight, She had never left it.
