After my chat with Adam I decided to take a quick walk to think and calm myself down. I reach the bench of a close park and sit down, my mind instantly filled with thoughts of everything.
I'd grown a bit of weight back but it had only been a few days so I hadn't gained much. No new scars had been added to my body. I didn't have a nightmare last night.
And the best thing, I think I had found 'The One'.
As cheesy as it sounds, Adam really was willing to wait for me to be ready for any relationship with him. He really was a sweet guy. I know it's bad, I've only known him a few days but it feels like forever...And he saved my life.
A smile starts to form on my face and I start to walk towards a close shop with the money I had left from yesterdays shopping trip. As I enter the shop, warmth covers my body and I walk around to find what I'm looking for. After I find and pay for the bag I walk back home.
Timeskip
"Adam I got you something!" I call as I walk through the door. He runs through and jumps around as I take the bag of pistachios out and give him them.
"Apparently this is the best thing to give you" I say and laugh at how hyper he is.
"ThankyouThankyouThankyou" He repeats and opens the packet and goes back to his room. Ohm walks through holding 2 cans of Monster. He holds one out to me, "Hey you want one? Adam has had 3 already so he's kinda...Well...Hyper as fuck" He laughs as I take the drink.
"Haha yeah thanks. I kinda noticed. Did Adam tell you what I said to him?" I ask as we walk through to the front room and turn on the Wii.
"Yeah he did. He was acting like a damn fanboy and going on about how amazing you were" Ohm laughs. We grab controllers and play a few games together, talking about relationships.
Timeskip
"Night guys" I call to Ohm, Minx and Krism as I enter Adam's room. He's already sat in bed, watching sonething on his laptop. I quickly change and sit next to him, snuggling into his side. He smiles and we watch a few more videos before he turns off the laptop and me lay down.
I rest my head on his chest and wrap my arms around his waist and he wraps his arms around me.
"I think...No..I know you are the greatest thing that has ever happened to me" Adam whispers to me as I drift into sleep.
"So are you Adam...I-I love you"
He squeezes me slightly and whispers back, "I love you too Max" before we both fall asleep.
