"Hey, wake up!" The thought of opening my eyes, makes me sob. "Get up, we're going to be late" The comfort of this familiar voice. "Wake up, wake up!" I keep hearing this voice. It says the same thing over, over and over. Shuttering I open my eyes, to my surprise, nothings or no ones there. As I go to look at the clock It's 7:07am, my first day of middle school, 8th grade. I jumped a grade due to my smartness in math and social studies. Im actually 11 turning 12 in a couple months. I'm most likely to be a outcast. Me and my only real friend were supposed to walk together, we both had jumped a grade. Then he left to the states and had left me behind, alone. After that had happened, I haven't talked to people like I did when he was here. Not long after he left for the states my Mom also went to the states for a interview for a high paid company. I'm stuck with my Father, he tries his best to stay in line while moms gone. It's not easy. I pull my cloths from off the ground to put on my cold fragile body. Putting my backpack on, then going to my father and giving him a kiss on the forehead, I head out. As I open the door, a very old man appeared but for only a second before I blink. As I think of what he looks like I begin to have a headache. Before I knew it, I've fainted.
I'm cold, I'm scared, I don't want to open my eyes. I open my eyes then shut them quick, I saw something familiar. "Hey, hey Keira." I heard that voice before, the voice also said my name. I quickly open my eyes to see a white room with my dad before me. "Hunny! Are you alright? You've fainted at our front door." My dad asked, I answer with "yes father, I'm fine." With confusion. I was extremely confused on how I fainted, but behind all that I was worried on what my father told the school.
"Haha! Your too slow run faster!" Yelled a boy, "Wait up! Im a girl you have to wait for me!" I answered. "Don't say that! Girls can also run and do what boys can do, if you have the energy that is." The boy replied, making me feel good about myself as I run a little faster catching up to him. "Ha! I did it!" As I get a little further then the boy. "No you don't!!" The boy gets to the same speed as I am, then blows a little kiss towards me. I jump to excitement then the boy takes the lead, as i am still shocked by the fingered motioned kiss. We made a wish that day, the same wish we did not know we both made.
