How to kill a Vampire!

Daisy POV:

Adelyn puts a finger to her lips motioning for silence. We all purse our lips and duck down into a bush. We had done this before however Beatrice looked bewildered and yet petrified.

I nod to her reassuringly before turning to Adelyn to ask what we do.

Before I could open my mouth, we heard rustling. I duck down until I'm practically face down on the floor. It takes me a while to notice Adelyn and Bee staring into a clearing with two tall vampires. Seriousness plastered on their face making them look almost laughable. They seem to be looking for someone. Looking for us.

'Do you see them?' One says. The other shakes their head.

'Master won't be happy, His little mortal has disappeared and has specifically asked for this other mortal girl.' the other spoke.

'I know, I know, she is important, but my question is, Why?' The first one says.

'I don't know but she can't be here. We would be able to see her red locks from a mile away or maybe even smell her.' The other mentions.

Adelyn looks at both me and Bee shocked. What I wanted to know was a) Why they wanted Addy? b) How can't they smell us?

But it seems I am not the only one confused. Adelyn looks like a mirror image of me. Bee however, looks into space. Classic Bee. Always distracted.

'I am glad we are rid of the other girl though.' One vampire said at random.

The other laughed, 'I know, I was so close to feeding from her it's legit unreal, But I'll tell you what though, She would totally make a crappy vamp so I just about stopped myself.'

They both fell into fits of laughter. 

Just as they did a crunching sound filled the area stopping the vampires manic laughing.

The three of our faces shot to the right suddenly where we saw a girl our age standing frozen in her spot. Unfortunately, The vampires had stopped to look at her before they broke out into a sprint to get to her. She ran and before long was out of sight she had disappeared.

'Guys we have to help her!' Bee says at a whisper.

'I know you wanna play hero right now but I can't let you do that, you might get caught!' Adelyn replied.

'No wait guys,' I started, ' It's Summer!' Bee looked at me then at Adelyn. 

She shot a look at Adelyn explaining how sorry she was for what she was about to do. 

'Don't, they want Addy, If they catch her it's on you so could you please like not be so selfish for once and leave it,' I whisper shouted. I secretly hated her deep down. She got the guy I liked, She is blessed with a perfect face and she is favoured over everyone and it isn't fair. She shot me the same look as she did to Adelyn.

She stood up and stomped as hard as she could on a branch and as she did Adelyn shot into action.

'Daisy go get Summer, Bee you got us into this mess so you and me will lead the blood suckers away got it? We will meet again here.' She ordered. 

We all sprinted away at full speed.

I ran after Summer at an attempt to catch up to her, shouting her name at the top of my lungs. The vampires were long gone chasing Adelyn and Beatrice however I still stole quick glances back just in case.

Summer was crouched down under a large tree clearly frightened. I knelt down next to her and took her hand for reassurance. With a smile I lifted her up and nodded for her to follow me.

Just as we were getting back to the meet up place we were greeted with Adelyn and Bee darting passed us grapping at us to run with them. And so we did. Faster then ever. The vampires followed behind us.

Panting now, we were getting close to some abandoned city and this made Adelyn reluctant. 

Pulling them along the streets, Adelyn sighed in relief at the sight of a whole ass truck with keys still in ignition. 

'Get in!' She shouted. me and summer hoped on the back closing the latch.

We both turned back to the pair in front of us. Bee was at the passenger side and Adelyn at the driving side.

The doors were locked. Who the hell runs from a vampire invasion and has time to lock the vehicle?

'Shit!' Adelyn shouted. She grabbed a stray brick and smashed it into the window. Bee followed doing the same thing. They climbed in from the window and luckily the engine started.

She put her foot down and drove.

Bee was laughing at the vampires that now turned into tiny dots as we drove away.

Adelyn looked behind to and made the irrational choice of skidding back around.

'Addy wha-' Bee said confused.

'What the fu-' I started.

'Psychopath turn back around!' Summer screamed. Adelyn ignored us with a smirk. Speeding on now right at the vampires we realised her plan. And before we new it, BANG, we collided with the monsters and when I say they flew I mean literally the flew over the car and crash landed in a heap. Dead. Again.

We drove back the way we originally intended to go with Adelyn beaming, clearly proud to have killed those vampires (again). They had been hunting us for eight months now and now they were gone.

We arrived at the mouth of a cave and set up camp. Sleeping bags scavenged from the wreck of the city and food stolen from the old mansion. We lit a fire and got ready to rest.

'I'll keep watch tonight,' Adelyn said. 

'Then me, wake me up when you get tired.' Bee says back. Adelyn nods.

We all lay down and drift off to sleep around the fire just as Adelyn was putting it out. we don't want Vampires paying any visits tonight.
