Prologue

You're 14 years old and a freshman. Your name will appear as ====, and your appearance is.. Well, however the @$?! You want your appearance to be(within the limits of you being a girl). Have fun, and enjoy :)

Disclaimer: As much as I really, REALLY, want to, I don't own Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, or any other anime/manga I plan to add in in the near future. I only own the plot and my ideas.

"Genesis," you cried out to your brother. It was late at night, and you couldn't sleep.

"Yes, ====?" He said, coming into your room and kneeling beside your bed. "What's wrong?" He put his hand on your forehead, checking for a fever. "You don't show any signs of a fever, and you certainly don't sound sick. You can't get out of going to school, you know. It's next week."

You pulled the blanket up over your head and mumbled "I don't feel sick. I wasn't implying that. Plus... We don't even know where I'm going yet. Are we still moving?" You paused, then whispered "I miss mom.. And I miss when everything was normal."

He got up from his knees and sighed, gently pulling down the blanket to reveal your face. "I'm sorry, ====, but things are never going to be normal again." He kissed your forehead. "Anything you need to help you sleep?"

"Your book." He always carried around a copy of LOVELESS, trying to comprehend the meaning behind the words he had fallen in love with at a young age.

He brought it out from your bookshelf. Occasionally he read it in your room and forgot it there, falling asleep on the seat by your nightstand that you used when you read.

"What part?"

"...All of it." You had read the poem for yourself many times, and Genesis had read it for you even more than that. It was your relaxant; that made you similar to your half-brother in one more way. All you shared was that same witty personality, your mother, and the roof over your head. (I know Genesis didn't necessarily have parents, but this is just to move the story along. Idk what I'll do with it later on.)

He brought the seat closer to you and stroked your hair while he read. You closed your eyes, trying to let it give you a sense of peace.
