A monster in True Cross

Chapter 10. Mephisto

"Maybe I'll be able to help..." A voice from the street spoke. I looked up to see a really tall man, wearing white and pink.
"And who are yo-" I was interrupted by Amaimon.
"ANIUE!!!" He yelled. The man looked at us both.
"So who are you?" I asked.
"I am Mephisto Pheles, Director of True Cross Academy, and Amaimon's older brother..." He explained. I didnt trust him... He looked too... Shifty... Amaimon saw the look on my face.
"Oh he's OK! You can trust him" he said to me.
"OK..." I looked at Mephisto and stood up with the little hamster in my hands.

"So where do you live, Ai?" Mephisto asked me
"No where... After I ran away, my mother moved out of town..." I explained. Amaimon hugged me with his tiny arms around part of my neck. Mephisto looked at us and smiled.
"It seems Amaimon has taken a liking to you" he said. I looked at the green hamster and petted his head. Mephisto sat there.. Thinking...
"Hm.. How about you stay with us?" Mephisto asked. I nodded and Mephisto told me where I would be sleeping. A small room with a bunk bed and wardrobe. I guessed this was Amaimon's room, but he couldn't use the beds as he was a hamster and would probably suffocate, so Mephisto had a hamster cage for him. I found it kind of funny to see him climbing around trying to get out. (YEAH I KNOW ITS CRUEL BUT YOU GOTTA ADMIT, WHEN YOU SEE A HAMSTER CLIMBING ITS FUNNY OK) I went into the bathroom, Changed and got ready for bed.
