赤い糸 II| SakuAtsu

Atsumu opened his eyes to a very unknown place. There's a river flowing right in front of him. Huge rocks are settling beside it. The water looks sparkling and bright, it's full of life.

The sakura trees are blooming with variety of colors of white, dark pink, yellow, blue, a little purple, and every color that Atsumu could name... It's a wonderful sight

Atsumu's eyes widened in amazement. He never seen a place like this before. It's mesmerizing..

"Well hello there, Atsumu-kun!"

Atsumu glanced at a very beautiful guy with long white hair almost touching the ground, silver eyes with bluish reflecting orb for the right eye, and reddish ones on the left. The guy seems to be a little taller than the blonde, but looks like a young teenager.

The said man carries an ocarina on his neck, hanging like a necklace. The man wears cream baggy temple-like clothes. The clothes hem brushes through the grasses as the man walked around.

Atsumu stared at him and followed the guy as he sat on a big rock in front of a huge harp. The man started to play with its strings creating vibrating sound, attracting every animal in there....

"What is this place? And Who're ya?" Atsumu blurted.

The man looked at him, and chuckled.

"Is this... heaven?" Atsumu asked, scared.

"Hahahahaha. No! Atsumu-kun... This isn't" The man replied as he walked in front of the mortal

"I'm Unmei. We're friends."

"Friends? But I don't-"

"I gave you the chance to see the threads..."

"Whhaaaat... Wait how did you know about those-"

"Like what I told you, I gave you the opportunity to see them..."

Atsumu looked at the other's hand and realized something...

"Okay... then how come ya don't have strings-"

"I don't have because I don't need one. I'm immortal." Unmei replied smiling.

"Yer... what? a God or something? Are ya kidding me? Are there cameras here? Are ya fooling me?!" Atsumu asked panicking taking a step away from the guy.

He felt scared and anxious.

"You don't have to be afraid, Atsumu-kun.. I gave that as a gift for saving my life..."

"But... what?" Atsumu gasped

"You saved the cat, right?" Unmei asked eyes beaming with light and excitement

"I.. I tried... But... it.. it vanished before I could-"

"It was me.". Unmei replied staring at Atsumu.

"Are ya crazy or something?!?!"

"HAHAHAHA.. You're a funny guy... Anyways.. I gave that ability to you... for you to find your own soulmate... you'll have it until you find that person..."

Dumbfounded, Atsumu just stared at Unmei.

"You don't believe me, Atsumu-kun? Let me show you something..."

With a whisked of Unmei's hand, a big mirror-like object in front of them appeared. In there, Kita-san is crying while Akagi is beside him and comforting the captain. From a near distance from the park where the two players are sitting, Aran is watching them with pain in his eyes

"Wait..Woaah" Atsumu said a little amazed.
"Is that happening right now?!"

"You intervened with fate... That's one thing you shouldn't do.. You see Kita and Aran are meant to be... Akagi isn't supposed to be in the picture... but he's there... and now their red threads are all tangled up for sure..."

"But I didn't know that! Besides... I'm so confused right now!"

"Don't be... Just live the way you usually do.. and-"

"How could I do that!? It's tempting...." Atsumu blurted making the other laughed

"Hahahaha.. I know.. Oh well, you have to go back now..." the white- hair said with a comforting smile.

Then white fog started to cover the magnificent place.
"Remember, Atsumu-kun! There are consequences on telling other people who their soulmates are or intervening on it.. So better be careful... that's why you got a fever right now..." Unmei explained before everything becomes blurry.
 

"Wha-?"

"... that's why he got a fever right now."

Atsumu opened his eyes, to see Osamu talking to a very familiar guy. It's their family doctor, Shinjero.

"Oh. Atsumu-kun... Ya feeling better?"

Atsumu nodded and his eyes darted to the doctor's hands where the thread is.

So those threads really are existing. I wonder who my soulmate is... I want to meet that person already.... I want to go back to normal... Wait.. does this ability makes me abnormal?! He panicked and it was painted all over his face.

"Tsumu... Ya okay?!" Osamu almost screamed at Tsumu's face in worry.

"I.. Ahh.. Sorry.. I spaced out. I'm good."

I'm on a mission now... To find my soulmate and try not to intervene with everyone's fate.... even though it's tempting.

The next day after the afternoon practice, Atsumu decided to follow his thread.
