"Morro.. What do you know about Lloyd's past?" Wu asked in shock.

The boy frowned more, looking down and taking more the pillow in his arms. "That he was left alone.. forced to fight his own father.. nightmares.. cries at night and when he was alone.. the loneliness that his parents left him alone in the world. His own family... About..that's all. "

Wu was silent. He knew too much. At a too young age. He was afraid he would remember himself, the evil him. From him when he was left alone on the streets of Ninjago, alone to starve in the cold. That he was taken by Wu, after leaving because of his selfish desire to be the Green Ninja, his first student to be the Chosen One. Getting the boy he loved as his own son to hate him.

"Morro.. How do you know all this?.." He hadn't wanted to sound so affected, but he was.

The brunette looked at the old man with wide eyes. He recognized the affected voice as if he had heard it elsewhere.

"I'm not sure.. I just know. Is it bad..?" He asked sadly.

"No.. no. I'm glad you can remember something from the past. But.."

"But??" Morro looked at him sadly, and hoped he hadn't said or done something wrong.

"I want you to be well."

"Am I not well?!" He almost had tears in his eyes. Thinking he might be sick.

"No! No- Morro, no.. You're really good. You're just.. you're too young to fully understand everything."

Morro looked down, clutching the pillow closer to his chest. He felt sad and useless. Wu sighed, putting his hand on the little one's shoulder.

"Morro.."

"I-is it because I didn't become the Green Ninja the way you wanted me to be?.." Morro murmured through tears. "Because I did a lot of harm and ran away from the Monastery and you?... I'm sorry.. I didn't want to do that.. I'm very sorry.."

The master, thousands of years old, was silent.

'He remembers.. That's not..it's not good. It's not at all. Oh Father..'

"Morro please calm down. Don't think about what happened in the past. Now you're here and I'm proud of you. I don't want you to be the Green Ninja. I just want you to be you, to be well and healthy.. happy and safe."

"..a-am I a good son?" He looked him in the eyes, still with tears in the eyes.

Wu froze, trying not to be soft, but he did, taking the boy in his arms. He could finally tell him he had adopted him. To start it over. To be a good father to him.

"You are, Morro.. You are. I am not a good father to you, Morro."

The boy buries his face in the old man's white coat with fine gold patterns on it. He had grown small in Wu's arms. The old man remembered when Morro had come to him one day with tears in his eyes. He had fallen from the now-defunct flowering tree. Injuring his leg. Morro cried for minutes until he calmed down. Or whenever he woke up in the middle of the night, crying that he had had a nightmare, then snuggling in Wu's arms, sleeping with him until morning. He could not forget those beautiful and tender moments.

"Morro.. to know that- Morro?" The old man looked at his son, who was now sleeping in his arms. Crying and huge emotions tiring him. Wu smiled softly, putting Morro to bed, wrapping him tightly. "Sleep well, son."

Wu didn't left. He wanted to be there when Morro woke up. As long as one person had heard it all. Feeling guilty now how he behaved recently with the little boy. Kai. He, Jay, and Lloyd had wanted to return to the Monastery. Jay had become too agitated for Morro, so Zane & Cole had volunteered to do the shopping themselves. Not everyone needed it to do it.

'So.. Morro isn't as bad as he looks.. but still not- No.. No.. Lloyd is right. I should give it a try. This is the thousandth time I've been told this to myself. But- oh Nya...'

Kai sighed, in conflict with himself. He left the door, returning to his own bedroom.

"He has to recover.. Otherwise we can't do anything. We can't tell him anything. He's just- helpless and in danger! And why do I care!?"

"Maybe because you got attached to him." Lloyd's voice came from the door.

Kai frowned slightly at him. "Like you didn't."

"I can't lie.. He's just, my cousin." He smiled at Kai. They were all a little attached. Maybe because he was just a poor boy and the recent incident.

"Lloyd.. It would be years before he grew up. And I didn't- "

"Easy, Kai. I'm glad you're finally giving Morro a chance, but we need to find out how he got here first. It's been days."

"And how would you like us to know that? We have no clue, or where to start. Master Wu found him in a dark alley in bad weather. And Morro began to remember. More about you.. And the fact that he now knows that he is Wu's son. "

"Wait. Wait. Wait. Does Morro remember?"

"Yeah.. About that. I listened to Wu and Morro's conversation. He doesn't remember much, but he does remember somethings... He's sleeping now. Master Wu is still with him."

Lloyd looked at the floor. Breathe and exhale. "Okay.. Okay. I'm glad he remembers.. It's a good sign. Maybe who knows, he'll remember how he got here."

"Or worse, that he was is evil and cruel."

"Let's not think like that.."

"Mhm.. Where's Jay?"

"He's looking for information about the connection between Water and Wind. But no chance. Or the connection between Water, Wind and Lightning."

"... Do you want to go and help him?"

Lloyd approves, being followed by Kai to the library.
