Horrifying and cold. That's all Y/N could muster in his brain at the moment. This new job...he new it would be absolute chaos. He has been hired as a varetaker and psychiatric nurse now at Penn Asylum. His boss, Johnathan, or just John, a sophisticated older man in a black suit has been leading him around the place. Y/N doesn't like it one bit.
Some of the residents were banging on their doors or slamming their heads against the walls. It was unpleasant seeing dried up blood underneath some of the rooms as well...
"Your pay rate is 25 hourly and your paychecks will arrive to you every saturday at the end of each week of each month. Do you have any questions for me, Y/N?"
"Yes actually. Do you guys cover health insurance."
"My dear boy this place is full of murderers, ghosts and troubled teenagers. I think we both know the answer to your question."
Y/N nods silently and peaks into one of the rooms. A blond boy with beautiful blue eyes was drawing on a piece of paper with a red crayon. Y/N doesn't exactly want to know what he's drawing.
"I hope you know what you're getting into. This place isn't for the light-hearted."
"If I didn't, I wouldn't have applied to work here."
"Great. I'm glad to have you in the business, your first day is next week on Wednesday."
They shook hands as your assigned bodyguard, Charlie, walked you out. For safety reasons. The doors close behind you and you feel the hot sun again on your face and sight.
"Dear lord this'll be one hell of a job."
