A few months after the whole Killian situation, Tony threw one of his famous parties to celebrate. He and Bruce had found a way to reverse what Killian had done to Pepper and was having a well deserved vacation. Tony and Emmy walked out to one of the balconies in the hopes of having some privacy.
"Im so glad Pepepr is doing better and enjoying some time off" Tony stated "So... are you going to stick around?" He asked nonchalantly
Emmy smiled at Tony teasingly "Want me to join the team, hotshot? Id be a great asset"
Tony smiled back at her and took her hand in his "I was thinking something a little more permanent, Sweetheart" He stroked her cheek with his free hand
Emmys heart skipped a beat as she looked up into his gorgeous face, a face she had loved for the whole of her life "What are you asking me, Tony?"
"Marry me, Emmaline, be what you have always been... My everything" Tony said as he continued to smile at her
Emmys eyes filled as she leaned into his hand "Yeah, I think Ill do that" She laughed as he spun her around and kissed her tenderly
Fireworks exploded in the air illuminating the two of them as everyone inside the room clapped and cheered. Emmy smiled brilliantly at the friends that had become family, as she took Tony's hand in hers and walked into the room to toast and celebrate their new beginnings.
Life with the Avengers was going to be an adventure!
