Bestfriend Love (ONE SHOTS)

Valentines Day 2014

Today is Valentines Day. I wish that somebody will give me flowers. Yesterday our teachers instructed us to bring roses,create paper hearts and write a letter at the back and valentines day cards.

Of course I created a lot of cards,paper hearts and I bought fresh roses with me. The roses were being blessed by our school priest and he also told us to give our roses to the people who helped us or who we adored the most.

My best friend Iris gave me paper hearts with a special message saying "Thank you" and a simple caricature of me. Of course my face is not really beautiful. I wore nerdy glasses, short hair,I'm fat and I have pimple scars on my face thankfully I got a really good best friend. I have a friend which is actually cute,funny,handsome and sporty name it and its already in him. Actually he is my crush, I don't know if he consider me as a friend or just a acquaintance.

School was nearly over and were just half day today. I am planning to give the paper hearts,cards and a special rose just for him, I am waiting for the bell to ring and he came over to me and we chat and I think this is the good timing. "Hey" he said, I glanced over to him and I saw that he is carrying one pink rose and a card which is scented. "Hey,what's up?" I replied. Then he said giving me those things and I blushed. "Can you hold this for me? I know that you have a jar with you and wait can you also keep this card and paper hearts for me? I'm planning to give this to Mika"

Sadness filled my heart and tears nearly fell on my eyes,good thing i can manage my feelings. "Ok then,make sure that you'll remember that your gifts to Mika is here" i replied with a fake smile. "Ok thanks again" he said. Five minutes more and school's over I just want to burn these gifts but I can't.

The bell rang and Kier walked to me. "Hey can I get it now?" He said with a goofy face "Yup here you go and good luck" i replied with a fake smile. Iris walked up to me and said "Are,you ok?" I glanced at her direction and said "Yup, im happy to be in service with my friend" i replied with a teary eyes

Iris and I walked to canteen to celebrate our "Happy Single Day" then I spotted Kier walking towards me "Daria, I finally gave her the gifts!" He said happily, "Wow that's a great news,Congats!" I said. "Yup thanks" he said. "Well its nearly one in the afternoon, i better go home or else grandma will tease me that I Have a date" I told Kier. "Ohh ok then wait you still have an extra roses,chocolates and card,whom are you giving those to?" He asked in confusion. "Well im planning to give this to someone else but I Think I don't have the chance" i sighed heavily.

"Do you want me to help you give those to him?" He asked. "No thanks, by the way i don't want this chocolates anymore you can have it" I said "Ohh sweet, thanks..um i better get going bye!"

Well its really lonely today Iris already went home, Kier is still on the school but he left me. Sigh good thing i got rid of that chocolate or else my effort in cooking it with love will be wasted. I finally hoped on a jeepney to ride home and went straight to my room.

I sprawled onto the bed and I can't control these tears welling up on my eyes.

Well lesson learned:Never love somebody else who couldn't love you back
